Machdealers is an online platform for trading machinery and used machinery located in Anhui Province, China. We are not responsible for the quality of the machinery products or after-sales service. Machdealers only reviews the machinery products uploaded to our website by suppliers and ensures that the inspection report for each machine on the platform matches the actual condition of the machine from the supplier. For suppliers consigning products on our platform, Machdealers is not responsible for the buyer’s payment, logistics, after-sales requests, etc., because Machdealers is merely an online platform for trading machinery products; we do not directly participate in any matters between the buyer and seller of the machinery products. Machdealers ensures that the supplier’s address, description, and contact number seen on our website match the actual supplier.
Things to note for buyers of mechanical products;
In addition to verifying product information, specifications, inspection reports, and product descriptions on the Machdealers platform, we strongly recommend that buyers visit the supplier’s office and the product’s storage location to conduct on-site inspections and verify the product’s actual condition. We do not advise buyers to place an order solely based on verification on the Machdealers platform.
After purchasing a machine, the buyer has the right to file for arbitration with the Machdealers platform regarding discrepancies in product quality, specifications, or details. Once arbitration begins, the Machdealers platform will freeze the seller’s pre-deposited product quality transaction deposit.
Buyers must contact the seller through the Machdealers platform, and ideally, the transaction should be completed under the platform’s supervision. If the buyer and seller of a mechanical product complete the transaction privately, the machdealers platform will not provide any after-sales guarantee, including after-sales service, to either the buyer or the seller.
Things sellers of mechanical products should pay attention to:
Sellers of machinery products can consign their products on the Machdealers platform for free. However, they must cover the travel expenses for Machdealers’ quality auditors’ on-site audits. This includes the auditors’ airfare, accommodation, transportation, and daily meals.
Sellers are responsible for the information regarding the machinery products they consign on the Machdealers platform, such as product descriptions, specifications, images, and inspection reports. If Machdealers finds discrepancies between the product descriptions, specifications, and images provided by the seller and the information verified by their on-site auditors, Machdealers has the right to remove all consigned machinery from the seller’s listings and require the seller to compensate the platform for any losses incurred.
Sellers of machinery products should ideally complete the entire transaction process under the full supervision of the Machdealers platform. This is not only responsible to the buyers of the machinery products, but also the best way to protect the rights and interests of the sellers themselves. This is because buyers of machinery products have the right to file a transaction lawsuit with the Machdealers platform. If the seller of the machinery products does not conduct the transaction under the full supervision of the Machdealers platform, the platform cannot determine whether the seller’s behavior violates the platform’s transaction process regulations.
Solutions to disputes on the machdealers platform:
1. The Machdealers platform can take the lead in proposing dispute resolution solutions. If neither the buyer nor the seller of the machinery product accepts the Machdealers platform’s dispute resolution solution, the buyer can file a lawsuit in the court where the seller is located to legally protect their rights. The seller can also file a lawsuit in the court where the buyer is located to protect their rights. Generally, the Machdealers platform recommends that both parties submit the dispute to arbitration through the platform, which will then review the case.
2. The buyer of machinery has the final exemption from liability for the interpretation of the machinery product on the Machdealers platform. If the actual condition of the machinery product provided by the buyer is consistent with the product description, parameters, and audit report recorded by the Machdealers platform’s offline auditors, the buyer can provide an explanation for the final condition of the machinery on-site. This is a protective policy implemented by the Machdealers platform to safeguard the rights of machinery buyers. Furthermore, regardless of how the parties ultimately resolve the dispute, the Machdealers platform will release the pre-deposited security deposit held by the machinery seller to the machinery buyer.
3: If the machinery buyer and seller conduct the entire transaction on the Machdealers platform, the platform has the right to interpret the final transaction process. The Machdealers platform can freeze all machinery products temporarily consigned to the platform by the machinery seller, and can also invalidate any arbitration initiated by the machinery buyer. The key is transparency; both the machinery buyer and seller must conduct the transaction under the full supervision of the Machdealers platform.
