2015 Hitachi ZX200 Crawler Excavator

It’s a rare nice day, which makes me feel even better and is more conducive to checking the machine. Hitachi ZX200 (Orange) which has some of the Chinese lettering on the boom and FYM branding on counter weight. Tracks have placed at around 90-95% quite fresh and no chunks were missing and serious cracking was not present rubber is still good on pads.  Oil leaks are checked underneath and all hydraulic cylinders are dry, hoses look immaculate and don’t show any sign of seepage around the pump or motor and swing bearing area is clean as well—oh wait, let me check the bucket cylinder seals again… yeah, those too are dry, no sign of weeping on the rod seals which is normally where seepage is first noticed on these Asian built motors…This machine clearly did not have this problem.

The driver’s cabin was very clean, with the entire driver’s seat covered in red soft cloth, and the dashboard, instrument panel, and steering wheel were spotless. Perfect for glass being clear, controls are unmarked and seat still has that quilted pattern and no wear on bolsters. No smoke on start-up, hydraulics are quick to respond with hydrant boom & stick hydraulics – no hesitation or hydrant pick-up noises on the pump, and no operators manual in seat pocket – that’s pretty common on dealer stock.  Machine digs well. No play.The boom and body are factory painted with no spot finish panel visible and the counterweight has typical dealers stickers and no workmanship or tight site dent or scrape to be seen. Bucket teeth – sharp, edge not rolled over, quick coupler does not seem to have been used. The tension on the tracks appears to be correctly adjusted; it looks like it is not over-tightened. This excavator has clearly been carefully refurbished by a master craftsman; the entire machine is in brand new condition.
