Product Description

I was inspecting this Xinyuan 75S wheeled excavator in the yard today. It’s one of those Chinese brands that isn’t as common as others and yet the quality is not as bad as it might be. Only it has 4-wheel drive and fairly aggressive tread left on the tires, and the back dozer blade has scuffing marks that indicate that it actually putged around pretty frequently rather than just sitting there looking pretty.  Two joysticks for pilot controls, a suspension seat with the belt still in place, a steering wheel to drive on the road with – just a normal wheeled excavator with no frills but no drawbacks.

The area that is interesting is the inside of the engine bay where there is dust trapped and some surface rust on a number of fasteners and bolts – all normal for something that has been worked outside, I did see for wet oil leaks and its pretty dry apart from the dust and old grime. A light pinkish film of oil seeping from the valve cover, but this may be from putting oil in the valve and/or from minor weepage over the years and not from obvious dripping. While cooling system components have the usual corrosion that one might expect, no cracking on the rubber I can see, hoses look fine, clamps are good. Nicely things like battery disconnect switch are there in red. There are no lines separating hydraulics up the boom and stick that look leaky or have chafing, no appreciable slop when I grasped the bucket and tried to rock it-no movement. Bucket itself with a general wear on the cutting edge and teeth, as it must be, still has some life left in it but it is recommended to flip or replace the cutting edge sometime down the line depending on what you are digging.  For a 75S I will have to say that it looks better than some that I have seen, I did ask the yard guy and he said the engine does not smoke at start-up, and the undercarriage of these wheeled ones is much less complex than those others with tracks so there is less that could go wrong there, and I did say to the guy that they did put reflective tape on the front and rear of this one, so it has to have been used to road work or working on muni jobs where the matter of reflectives is taken serious.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Load a lot of containers for West Africa out of different ports. Best thing about machdealers platform is they get the export docs right the first time. Commercial invoice, packing list, title. No delays at Jebel Ali Port Customs. Bought 4 KOMATSU PC200-8 from them so far.

We run a basalt quarry site in Central Ethiopia, we needed a 36 ton heavy excavator that can run 24/7 loading rock. Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.

The shipment from korea to Uganda took a little over four weeks, slightly longer than I was initially told, but the platform sent me weekly photo updates showing the machine's location on the ship, so I never worried about losing money. The machine arrived in perfect condition, and the short wait was worthwhile. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

We found a Volvo EC240 excavator at a very good price for our new residential project. The seller even uploaded complete maintenance records from the previous owner, saving us the cost of hiring an independent inspector and flying in to check the machine's condition. This alone saved us over $800 in travel expenses.
