Product Description

This excavator was inspected at the construction site today. It was carrying out earthwork operations at the time. It is an XCMG XE380DK. As far as I am concerned, the boom cylinder chrome looks fine, got some light scoring on the rod, but surface stuff (I did not see any pitting with my thumb), and the seals are not weeping so that is fine for now. Swing/bearing I just couldn’t see due to positioning of the machine and just to be honest the amount of crud was everywhere – but cycled it a few times and didn’t hear any grinding or clunking – pretty smooth. Pins at boom and stick joints are not sloppy, we have regular working play but nothing which says the bushings on those pins are shot, bucket pin is the same.

Control surfaces responded well, there was no sticky or loose joysticks, all the gauges worked while running, the seat fabric didn’t have any holes in it when I ran it. Oil and fuel filter housings show no signs of oil or other stains on the yellow paint on the underside where they would be if they leaked for some time—wait, let me look, no, they are just old dust caked on, no oil or shinny, pump area etc. Undercarriage frames – solid far as I could tell – after using a stick to remove some mud from the frames I could not find any cracks in the welds and no cracks in the bends. There’s paint chips at Counterweight, but it’s ok, structure is fine. What was sunny but windy was that dust flew in my face when I was down there looking at the finals. The track chains have debris loose packed between the chains but that just a result of site conditions when they are cleaned off with a hose and fed with grease.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Load a lot of containers for West Africa out of different ports. Best thing about machdealers platform is they get the export docs right the first time. Commercial invoice, packing list, title. No delays at Jebel Ali Port Customs. Bought 4 KOMATSU PC200-8 from them so far.

We run a basalt quarry site in Central Ethiopia, we needed a 36 ton heavy excavator that can run 24/7 loading rock. Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.

The shipment from korea to Uganda took a little over four weeks, slightly longer than I was initially told, but the platform sent me weekly photo updates showing the machine's location on the ship, so I never worried about losing money. The machine arrived in perfect condition, and the short wait was worthwhile. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

We found a Volvo EC240 excavator at a very good price for our new residential project. The seller even uploaded complete maintenance records from the previous owner, saving us the cost of hiring an independent inspector and flying in to check the machine's condition. This alone saved us over $800 in travel expenses.
