Product Description
Had a look around this PC200 today at the yard–the engine was not running. It was in pretty good shape, controls were normal/standard dual joysticks with gray cockpit grips, all safety stickers are in place indicating it hasn’t been abused, and the glass is clear and there’s no protection grid on the front that’s been removed.
I spent most my time on the hydraulics—there was no dampness anywhere as far as I could see, no fresh oil seeping out of cylinder seals or any of the fittings; I ran my hand under a few of the connections and came back dry; the boom and stick cylinders were clean. There were no cracks in the rubber on the cylinder boots and the rubber pins on the stick and boom were tight (no slop when pushing the bucket) and the hydraulic lines to the cylinder are dirty, but in good order. Surface rust on track shoes as normal, no chewed up looking lower rollers and couldn’t get a great look at the idler bearings but nothing was leaking grease down the face of the idlers. (Undercarriage)Paint condition is good overall, there is a name on the paint by the counterweight which means that it was a fleet machine most likely kept up to schedule for maintenance as there are no major cracks or dents in the chassis that I noticed. All deck cover panels on the rear are in place, exhaust stack is true and not smoking (not tested) and there’s no carbon soot all over the exhaust like there is on some that are. There is nothing structural on platform walkways – just the anti-slip panels with yellow dots and bit of debris. Not much sunshine or rain when I arrived, so I didn’t remove covers to view filters and belts, assuming that if the buyer is interested in the car they will do their own at their own time. It’s not like there was a switch gear or anything but seems to work well from what I can tell.

Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.
