Product Description
I took a look at this Volvo EC480 at the supplier’s site today. Undercarriage has been in model years ago but isn’t cooked and idlers appear to be in order, no cracks or new welds in rails on frame indicating it’s not been abused in rock/demonstration work. When I did take a test drive on it there is no looseness at the swing bearing, boom and stick pins feel pretty secure, there are bucket teeth and there was still some teeth left on the cutting board. Coolant tank is yellow translucent and FL is fine, Fan Assy is a Barscheng Fan FL fine, and some have been changing the fuel filter.
as to interior regularly there’s plastic on the seat, cardboard on the ground with some red store rags in, can’t say if interior smells like diesel, or if HVAC is functioning, but looks like it would work. Clear glass viewing surface – no windshield cracks. No Operator’s Manual in door pocket – not uncommon. Controls were all normal looking Volvo controls, no hacks and jerry rigs… that I could see behind the door. But at least Counterweight hasn’t been backed into a rock face, its yard rash is typical, a bit of paint is missing and some surface rust, but no structural dings or cracks.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.
