Product Description

I went to check out this Cat 320D2L excavator today. There were clear signs of markings left by Chinese operators on the boom and body, but the machine looked to be in good condition from the front. Upon opening the engine compartment, the interior was drier than I had expected, with no signs of oil seepage; although seals are typically the first components to age, there was no oil pooling beneath the pumps and the hoses looked clean and dry—exactly the ideal condition for this older D-series model. Fuel tank or perhaps a hydraulic reservoir, the silver tank that’s about level with the red intake hose was completely dry around the fittings. The painted areas around there haven’t darkened to the gunk that’s formed by months of seepage, they are still yellow.

It is in the cab where it gets interesting – wait, let me check my notes… yeah, so all that stuff on the exterior and interior is really clean, there’s just some light dust on the floor mat, seat isn’t ripped or anything, no wear and tear on the pedals, no wear and tear on the joysticks, no warping in the vinyl… oh the joy of my notes! All the safety stickers are present indicating that some person was concerned about the vehicle not being taken away by them or completely fading away. Hinges in door – they are solid, no slop when I opened it.  No cracks in front or side window glass, glass ceiling in cab still nice off-white color (not nicotine yellow). It’s true, little bits and bits but then it starts to pile up. Everything hydraulically is fluid – no sticking on stick controls, boom cylinders operate smoothly, bucket has teeth and they’re not ground down to nubs. Black colour with no cracks or chunks missing – Counterweight. It is painted with cat yellow (typical cat stripes – black and red) and has no significant dents that I could locate, has some dirty paint which may be washed off. I can’t see anything bordering on frame cracks or welded on such as light is certainly poor during the inspection but everything was fine. Machine digs well. Only minor leaning in the pins which I didn’t notice until I was under it with a pry bar, and to be honest with you I could not pry bar it over most used 320’s with regen which I see each year. Engine doesn’t sound bad or ‘smoke or rattle on idle’.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Load a lot of containers for West Africa out of different ports. Best thing about machdealers platform is they get the export docs right the first time. Commercial invoice, packing list, title. No delays at Jebel Ali Port Customs. Bought 4 KOMATSU PC200-8 from them so far.

We run a basalt quarry site in Central Ethiopia, we needed a 36 ton heavy excavator that can run 24/7 loading rock. Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.

The shipment from korea to Uganda took a little over four weeks, slightly longer than I was initially told, but the platform sent me weekly photo updates showing the machine's location on the ship, so I never worried about losing money. The machine arrived in perfect condition, and the short wait was worthwhile. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

We found a Volvo EC240 excavator at a very good price for our new residential project. The seller even uploaded complete maintenance records from the previous owner, saving us the cost of hiring an independent inspector and flying in to check the machine's condition. This alone saved us over $800 in travel expenses.
