Product Description
Yesterday, I went to inspect this Komatsu PC240LC excavator in person. The machine was located about an hour’s drive from the city, and the operator was working when I arrived. I took some time to observe its startup behavior: there was no smoke from the exhaust, the hydraulic system sounded normal, and I didn’t hear any high-pitched whining or detect any signs of pump failure. You brought it home, closed the cover, and looked under the hood—no leaks or anything: It’s just covered in dust, as if it was running, but not leaking or anything. If there was any leaks there, you would find around the fuel filter and the whole area that you would see it seep around. I see none of that. Some surface rust on stick cylinder rod; that’s a cosmetic issue that can result from the machines resting between jobs, and/or working all day long in wet dirt; nothing that would indicate to me seals are burnt out; hydraulic lines running over the boom are all intact.
When I looked in the cab from the outside it looked fine, the glass was not broken and I couldn’t get in as the operator was still operating the cab, but when I could see in the cab there was no rips or tears in any seat or busted controls cancelling off it looked like there was normal dirting. The pins look tight; when I saw it cycle through a few digs, Bucket’s got some broken teeth and the edge of it is wore down but wear-on items, I suppose pins that’s the one thing that I’m looking for with these old Komatsus.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Load a lot of containers for West Africa out of different ports. Best thing about machdealers platform is they get the export docs right the first time. Commercial invoice, packing list, title. No delays at Jebel Ali Port Customs. Bought 4 KOMATSU PC200-8 from them so far.

We run a basalt quarry site in Central Ethiopia, we needed a 36 ton heavy excavator that can run 24/7 loading rock. Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.

The shipment from korea to Uganda took a little over four weeks, slightly longer than I was initially told, but the platform sent me weekly photo updates showing the machine's location on the ship, so I never worried about losing money. The machine arrived in perfect condition, and the short wait was worthwhile. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

We found a Volvo EC240 excavator at a very good price for our new residential project. The seller even uploaded complete maintenance records from the previous owner, saving us the cost of hiring an independent inspector and flying in to check the machine's condition. This alone saved us over $800 in travel expenses.

The team here truly understands the procurement process of construction companies—they won't bombard you with sales calls after you submit an inquiry, but will send you the specifications, prices, and inspection documents you require within an hour. 10/10, they will be our first choice for all future upgrades and replacements of our excavator fleet.

I’m a one man show doing septic tanks and grading. Rented forever until I found a Kubota U35 here. Wth financing rates right now I needed a cash deal. Got a great price. Rubber tracks are almost new. Starts every morning no problem.
