Product Description
At the site I visited, there was a batch of Komatsu excavators in excellent condition; the specific unit I inspected was a Komatsu PC350, and its operating condition was virtually like new. Everything looking nice, no fresh oil anywhere, hoses are all black and not at end of life in a swing motor… (wait, can I check swing motor again) No weeping there still and clean hydraulic pump housing. The body is scrubbed down, paint paint is clean, there is no wear and tear on the counter weight like a used machine does have, makes me think that this machine hasn’t been blown around or abused too much yet.
Where it gets cool is the Interstate (cab interior), it still has the plastic over the seat, but the floor mat is covered with mud and bits of work with some plastic, and controls have those red covers over the joysticks still. It’s seat itself not the vinyl that Komatsu uses. Satisfactory door seals, no tears on skylight, skylight in place. A hydraulic cylinder scoring (there was none that I could see) and rod chrome appears to be fine with what I could inspect without taking it on a run. All hoses are labelled within the engine bay and they are all routed neatly, they are a typical Japanese assembly quality. It has ’emission tag’ which indicates ‘Stage III China’ – thus it can be operated everywhere without being subjected to Tier 4 technology. May be worth considering if it is priced appropriately.

We run a basalt quarry site in Central Ethiopia, we needed a 36 ton heavy excavator that can run 24/7 loading rock. Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.
