Product Description
The Komatsu PC220 I found yesterday is in remarkably good condition in terms of cleanliness—especially considering it is a machine built for the Chinese market. Equipment of this type usually undergoes heavy usage there, but this unit is currently in the yard and has clearly been refurbished, ready for export or resale. Initially opened all the covers and only saw dust and grime with no fresh oil, that is rare as no water separation issues were apparent nor did the hydraulic hoses have the stiff feel like they were just replaced in the last 12-18 months, versus the original soft hoses that crack. Intact which is honestly better than half the machines that are coming in. I didn’t get under in the mud to see the sprocket, so they must be OK.
The seats still have their factory plastic on them, they are all Chinese and wrap their joysticks in a red flag because, or for some reason, they do, floor mats haven’t been chewed through or caked in dirt, mirrors are there… one with a foil wrap on it for some reason. No holes or tears in the upholstery. I could not look directly at gauges due to the angle but there wasn’t the same beat to hell in the console like in most operator station conditions that I inspect. All bucket teeth worn evenly, no cracked welds on the bucket, including any on the side, pins were tight when I grabbed the stick and shook it back and forth, no “slop”. All of the cylinders have clear chrome, there is no scoring or pitting (that I could see), so it’s likely the seals are performing their intended job nicely. It was very humid today so everything had its sticky feel, but did not have any oil residue where it shouldn’t be. Obviously, Engine I was not able to start but when I looked down in there, it was all dry, no crusty deposits on the valve covers or block, the belts look newer. Radiator Fins not filled with dirt.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Load a lot of containers for West Africa out of different ports. Best thing about machdealers platform is they get the export docs right the first time. Commercial invoice, packing list, title. No delays at Jebel Ali Port Customs. Bought 4 KOMATSU PC200-8 from them so far.

We run a basalt quarry site in Central Ethiopia, we needed a 36 ton heavy excavator that can run 24/7 loading rock. Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.

The shipment from korea to Uganda took a little over four weeks, slightly longer than I was initially told, but the platform sent me weekly photo updates showing the machine's location on the ship, so I never worried about losing money. The machine arrived in perfect condition, and the short wait was worthwhile. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

We found a Volvo EC240 excavator at a very good price for our new residential project. The seller even uploaded complete maintenance records from the previous owner, saving us the cost of hiring an independent inspector and flying in to check the machine's condition. This alone saved us over $800 in travel expenses.

The team here truly understands the procurement process of construction companies—they won't bombard you with sales calls after you submit an inquiry, but will send you the specifications, prices, and inspection documents you require within an hour. 10/10, they will be our first choice for all future upgrades and replacements of our excavator fleet.

I’m a one man show doing septic tanks and grading. Rented forever until I found a Kubota U35 here. Wth financing rates right now I needed a cash deal. Got a great price. Rubber tracks are almost new. Starts every morning no problem.
