Product Description
The area where these excavators are parked is very large, so large that many excavators are parked very close together. Today I’m going to this site to inspect the Doosan DX225LCA. The owner of this excavator is very welcoming. When I arrived at the scene the engine compartment was already open and I went right to the turbo (check the endplay of the valve train, check to see if the oil is weeping from the manifold or around the head gasket — 1st place I look on these Doosan’s — all are good). Fins on a clean up on a radiator for a yard machine are quite surprising whether a little bit of dust on the side grilles or not. With the hoses, they are all blah with dirt, but no cracking on the hoses intake boots, no fit and forget clamps, all fit and crimped with these silver ends. There are some spiral guards still on the hydraulic lines that extend up the boom indicating the person was not the most careless of individuals.
Undercarriage becomes interesting – tracks have perhaps 80-90% left on the pads, surface rust on all the grousers, which is to be expected as all the shoes are stored outside; no cracks or deformation to the shoes. Walked under twice – thinking it may have been a bit wet in the vicinity of the swing motor area, but looks like old mud and dust gunk on the inside of my notes – could not find any fresh leaks that’s for sure. Based on whether I was able to tear into it or not, those pins do look just about tight enough to me. The bucket is a sort of your average GP setup, nothing special, there are cuts but metal is still relatively thick at the moment. There is chalk (white) marking graffiti on the door to the taxi cab which did irritate me but it is not easy to see if there is paint damage unless you rub it off the door. Glass is intact. I couldn’t get every angle from the interior, I left the door locked and nobody was at the house with the keys at the moment I was here, but, just looking in through the windows it looks like the seat may have touched the ground and there was dirt on the ground mat. Unfortunately during the inspection it was somewhat overcast, and lighting wasn’t optimal seeing everything I doubt there was anything that prompted a disaster. When I lifted the Hood I didn’t even detect any burning oil scent which is a great thing to see. This machine is overall in fairly good shape – it appears to have been under used. We should budget each track at some time soon; perhaps 15000 hours remaining if we’re all digging all day! My vans engine bay would be nice to have my name on, if the person buying the van knew what they were buying! Imperfect yet authentic iron.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Load a lot of containers for West Africa out of different ports. Best thing about machdealers platform is they get the export docs right the first time. Commercial invoice, packing list, title. No delays at Jebel Ali Port Customs. Bought 4 KOMATSU PC200-8 from them so far.

We run a basalt quarry site in Central Ethiopia, we needed a 36 ton heavy excavator that can run 24/7 loading rock. Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.

The shipment from korea to Uganda took a little over four weeks, slightly longer than I was initially told, but the platform sent me weekly photo updates showing the machine's location on the ship, so I never worried about losing money. The machine arrived in perfect condition, and the short wait was worthwhile. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

We found a Volvo EC240 excavator at a very good price for our new residential project. The seller even uploaded complete maintenance records from the previous owner, saving us the cost of hiring an independent inspector and flying in to check the machine's condition. This alone saved us over $800 in travel expenses.

The team here truly understands the procurement process of construction companies—they won't bombard you with sales calls after you submit an inquiry, but will send you the specifications, prices, and inspection documents you require within an hour. 10/10, they will be our first choice for all future upgrades and replacements of our excavator fleet.

I’m a one man show doing septic tanks and grading. Rented forever until I found a Kubota U35 here. Wth financing rates right now I needed a cash deal. Got a great price. Rubber tracks are almost new. Starts every morning no problem.
