Product Description
This is a premium Caterpillar 307E crawler excavator; its overall appearance is flawless, and it has been meticulously maintained by its owner. Machine starts smoothly; revving up was clean and no smoke produced; All parts and pins are tight, no slop or odd knocking from boom or stick cylinders (check chrome) and no scoring on boom, stick or bucket cylinders that I could see. There’s some dust in cab, a red rag on the seat, dirty floor mat but whatever, all the glass is in tact and the door seals are fine, the controls work well when running through the functions.
Yellow Cat part: Correct (Fuel filter, NOT filter housing leaking). Was over cast during inspection but nothing pooled up and no fresh drips as I got under the swing bearing area, and track motors. To add to the “for whatever it is,” the operator manual isn’t stored in the pocket in the cab.Paint has the normal chips in the hood and counter weight, nothing to bare metal that will definitely start rusting out soon and decals are faded yet legible. When checked, the quick coupler on the stick moves smoothly, hydraulic hoses extending down the boom are all black rubber and in good shape with no bulges or leaks on crimps. This is partly due to the fact that none of that was visible in the images I took, but, taking into account the tightness of the whole seems it is not subjected to beating to death yet, the seat does not seem to be torn into shreds, and the joysticks do not look like they are hit and worn smooth, which is usually a pretty good indicator. Overall a good used 307E: no red flags, runs OK and moves dirt.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.
