2019 SANY SY155C Crawler Excavator

SANY SY155C, Yellow body with that black cab setup, rubber tracks all present no major cracks, or separation that I could see; teeth on bucket are in place and no loose pins that I could see. I went and took a look at all the hydraulic lines-under the engine cover there’s a lot of hydraulic lines, but I proceeded to trace all of them down and nothing was very new at all-just old dust caked on everywhere like if it had been sitting for a minute, like it may have been stored somewhere outside.

Engine bay is really dirty, dust on the air intake hose as well as surface rust on the exhaust canister (not structurally corroded). The radiator does not appear damaged; just a dirty look behind the grille is going to need to be blown out before summer and under load or it will begin to overheat. Undercarriage—these sprockets were black and worn even with the track pads—no strange, uneven wear, any of the rollers would spin by themselves when I would kick them. There are solid panels between the frame rails. No cracks.The glass is still intact and there doesn’t seem to be anything blocking the yard guy yet, however, the seat may be torn, the joysticks may be loose, etc., which is annoying because the cab wouldn’t open and I could not get in since it was locked when I was there and the yard guy was off-piste. During inspection it was raining so everything was worse than it actually is, but the boom and stick cylinders–the bigger kinds–haven’t got any marks on any of the rods and the protective boots were still on, this is good. Machine digs well. This is a medium-sized excavator made in China. I checked the radiator, and it doesn’t need cleaning or adjustment right now. Mechanically speaking, it’s not smoking or leaking oil. And as a medium-sized excavator made in China, its quality is no longer as bad as the Sany excavators of the past few years; in some aspects, it can even rival first-tier machinery brands like Komatsu.
