Product Description
Today I test drove this Sumitomo SH260 excavator for several hours on muddy roads. The driving time showed 6804 hours, which is not too bad for a Sumitomo tractor, but not low either. When I shook on the bucket everything looked tight and there wasn’t any slack in the arm cylinders either. It’s Isuzu engine and started right off, no smoke or weird noises from the engine and ran well on idle and when I cycled the hydraulics it instantly réponded and there was no swing or stick hesitation. Some tracks have mud caked all over them, so it was difficult to see all of the webbing, however, none of the portions visible weren’t cracked or stretched.
Cabin dusty, somebody has been using this machine and not putting the effort in to keep the engine clean, tan seat cover stained and mud all over the floor mat but the joysticks work well, the display panel also gets lights so the mini is running at 16L/hr which seems to be about right for this size of an engine doing proper work. Incidentally, there’s no Operator’s manual in the seat pocket. Oil is stained on the floor panels underneath the engine bay, but it’s not fresh oil, I ran my finger under the oil pump housing, didn’t come back with any oil (just a little oil around the finger) and the same thing with the hydraulic passage to the arm, all are dry, hoses not cracked or leaking. Again, it’s just as well Donaldson air filter is in use as the poor person who does not care to run some cheap junk through it. Just cosmetic fading on the boom and scratches on the counter weight, but it doesn’t have an impact in any way and is normal. I would replace them as they’re worn down about half way, maybe not needed so soon, but soon anyway, the bucket itself has no cracks. I was able to get under only a part of the way during inspection as it was raining but sprockets are not chewed up, idlers spin freely without grinding.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Load a lot of containers for West Africa out of different ports. Best thing about machdealers platform is they get the export docs right the first time. Commercial invoice, packing list, title. No delays at Jebel Ali Port Customs. Bought 4 KOMATSU PC200-8 from them so far.

We run a basalt quarry site in Central Ethiopia, we needed a 36 ton heavy excavator that can run 24/7 loading rock. Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.

The shipment from korea to Uganda took a little over four weeks, slightly longer than I was initially told, but the platform sent me weekly photo updates showing the machine's location on the ship, so I never worried about losing money. The machine arrived in perfect condition, and the short wait was worthwhile. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

We found a Volvo EC240 excavator at a very good price for our new residential project. The seller even uploaded complete maintenance records from the previous owner, saving us the cost of hiring an independent inspector and flying in to check the machine's condition. This alone saved us over $800 in travel expenses.

The team here truly understands the procurement process of construction companies—they won't bombard you with sales calls after you submit an inquiry, but will send you the specifications, prices, and inspection documents you require within an hour. 10/10, they will be our first choice for all future upgrades and replacements of our excavator fleet.

I’m a one man show doing septic tanks and grading. Rented forever until I found a Kubota U35 here. Wth financing rates right now I needed a cash deal. Got a great price. Rubber tracks are almost new. Starts every morning no problem.
