Product Description
I took a close look at this Sumitomo SH360HD excavator today. The light wasn’t great because the sun was setting, but I still managed to see what it looked like! Started it up and no smoke upon start up first of all which is the good thing, no knockin or funny vibrations through the cab as well, the sound of the engine is clean. The hydraulics response is smooth, no hesitation when hitting the sticks and boom and bucket curl back quickly as if someone didn’t cook the pumps.
Looked around the main pump hydraulic lines cylinder rods perusal around all the spots that leak on the pump – it’s dry, perhaps some residue from years ago but nothing wet, no leaks. Boom cylinder have still got all the chrome on, seals not leaking. The cab is a mess with mud everywhere, the operator didn’t care about keeping it clean, seat is dirty, it was not torn matted, floor mats are caked though. Straw and debris were everywhere on the engine deck and made it rather difficult to look at, but when cleaned up they are all ok. There is some scratch on Paint, counterweight is chipped up all around, your cosmetic darn damage.

Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.
