2020 Doosan DX75-9C PLUS Compact Excavator

I took this used Doosan DX75-9C Plus excavator out for a test run. The sprocket teeth were worn, about 40% of them were worn off. The tracks are rubber three-tooth tracks, and the rims are also worn. There is rust on the track shoes (which is normal considering this machine has been parked in mud and rocky areas).

No blue smoke or seepage from the exhaust anyways and hole in the left lower corner of the vertical pipe (exhaust pipe) is heat discoloured, no seepage comes out of there but it is dirty but there’s a reason for that, this is a compact diesel, doosan block, 3 cylinder, the stains around the hose connections and around the lower block, wiping the spot, there was no oil underneath, it was just old seepage that has been baking on there for a while”. Not leaking. Underside of the machine is dry with a quick re-check of the pump housing, there is paint peeling of the bare metal at the blue pump casing and some surface contamination built-up is there, but there is no drip marks, or wet-shine on the ground below. Old staining. Not today’s problem.Cab is usable, rubber floor mat has about some working dirt, joysticks are not cracked, seat IoT seems to be okay, no splits seen (I’m sure there is a few), door rubber seal has some tape, no big cracks in the glass (I’m sure there are some cracks), whatever, it looks like no indication of work is done on these, except that of some tape around the rubber door seal. All the text on spec plate on B-pillar is in Chinese so I simply photographed it; I didn’t deal with it on site. Oh — when I came on the scene, the machine was backed up snugly against a stack of broken up concrete so getting around back was a bit cumbersome not because of the iron, but just because of the concrete. There is a large area of peeling paint on the lower left body section close to the track frame with cosmetics/scratches to all body sections coming off the “ask”. Need a new set of teeth on the bucket w no caps–bucket teeth are worn down; no caps left on teeth-needs to do some serious rock work. Observed absence of any visible cracks in boom and stick, finger tight cylinder pins, no noticeable bright wet areas on the cylinder rods and no bright wetness on the rod seals on the visible cylinders. If you want this to operate, move. Make sure you can still price in the undercarriage work and still be in credit for your undercarriage swap!
