Product Description

Today, I’m looking at this Hyundai 110VS excavator; it’s parked in a muddy rural lot with thick mud caked onto its tracks. Its condition is decent—not pristine, certainly, but far from bad. I also inspected the track rollers (despite the mud covering them) and they appear to be in good shape, while the drive sprocket teeth remain thick and intact. Engine bay—Opened it up, expecting to see the usual seepage around some of the hoses on these mid-sized machines but it doesn’t, checked the hydraulic pump housing twice, thought maybe I missed something, ohm I have my notes here, yup it’s just more of the same old dust and grime and the hose is not cracked or weeping at the connectors – the guy that ran it wasn’t cooking it anyway. Radiator Cores appear clean, no bent fins evident as far as I could see and the cooling system does not appear to have been neglected or at least abused. Clean machine.

The difference is the Cab, Operator clearly lives in this thing, seat fabric is worn through in places, no it’s not a rip, it’s just shiny and worn from use, floor mat has about 2” of dried mud and joystick boots have no rips that I could see and the controls were tight when I turned them around without the rig on. No slop in the pilot system that was noticeable to me. All good except dirty, wipers will probably operate fine when clean the windscreen. The weather was overcast and wet at the time of the inspection which meant that things appeared worse than they may be. Rust on the surface does not look to be an issue with the rods and the pins appear tight, no clunking when the boom is down, cylinders boom/stick are pretty rust free – seen much worse on newer iron. How long or how far they get with digging depends on what they dig. The styling suggested this was one of the 2020-2023 vehicles. 02 Filters in enginebay appear to be “top off” as fuel filter is white and oil filter is black, and both in good condition so that someone must have been servicing them.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Load a lot of containers for West Africa out of different ports. Best thing about machdealers platform is they get the export docs right the first time. Commercial invoice, packing list, title. No delays at Jebel Ali Port Customs. Bought 4 KOMATSU PC200-8 from them so far.

We run a basalt quarry site in Central Ethiopia, we needed a 36 ton heavy excavator that can run 24/7 loading rock. Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.

The shipment from korea to Uganda took a little over four weeks, slightly longer than I was initially told, but the platform sent me weekly photo updates showing the machine's location on the ship, so I never worried about losing money. The machine arrived in perfect condition, and the short wait was worthwhile. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

We found a Volvo EC240 excavator at a very good price for our new residential project. The seller even uploaded complete maintenance records from the previous owner, saving us the cost of hiring an independent inspector and flying in to check the machine's condition. This alone saved us over $800 in travel expenses.
