Product Description

This is a Komatsu PC130 excavator; the hour meter shows 7,353 hours of operation. For a model like the PC130, this figure is neither particularly bad nor especially good, though it clearly shows signs of heavy use—the machine is caked in mud. Turns out the engine bay is as dirty as can be, but of course it is because of landscaping duties. Fortunately all the outside mounting parts are relatively clean enough and there are no cracked hoses or ones that are weeping and some old staining underneath the pump that I wiped down; it is old but no direct oil flow which is fine. Fuel filter is Made in Finland – good I guess as it does not look like an old filter.

Cab is filthy, oil pressure warning and maintenance warning were showing, oil pressure monitor works fine, two warning lights, oil pressure temp is great, and fuel gauge (not sure if it was throwing any codes idling for awhile, no gauging the engine. Climated Control panel does operate, A/C button seems to operate but no time was given for it to blow cold in the absence of running the engine. Is Seat dirty, but not torn. All glasses were in good condition. Controls: Responsive (Non sticking). Undercarriage is the issue here, the rollers, they show usage wear on them and they’re rolling fairly good, no flat spots I can tell on those but the tracks have been utilized quite a bit. Yeah, I wiped down the boom cylinders twice and they didn’t leak as far as I could tell but chrome on the cylinders has some pitting that didn’t look too bad. There’s the teeth on the buckets which aren’t all worn to nubs. Machine digs well. No indications of any swing motor or hydraulic problems, there is no whining pump. During the inspection it was overcast, and could not see smoke very well, but noted no black or blue smoke coming from the stack when it got the coal going. The counterweight paint was scratched off and the body panels of the vehicle were as expected after being seen at job sites but structurally it was sound, there were no cracks in the frame that I was able to see. This has been ok for 7300 hours on a Chinese work site, but it’s due some track work soon, and will likely need a full service sometime to get rid of those lights on the dashboard. Runs fine though.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Load a lot of containers for West Africa out of different ports. Best thing about machdealers platform is they get the export docs right the first time. Commercial invoice, packing list, title. No delays at Jebel Ali Port Customs. Bought 4 KOMATSU PC200-8 from them so far.

We run a basalt quarry site in Central Ethiopia, we needed a 36 ton heavy excavator that can run 24/7 loading rock. Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.

The shipment from korea to Uganda took a little over four weeks, slightly longer than I was initially told, but the platform sent me weekly photo updates showing the machine's location on the ship, so I never worried about losing money. The machine arrived in perfect condition, and the short wait was worthwhile. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

We found a Volvo EC240 excavator at a very good price for our new residential project. The seller even uploaded complete maintenance records from the previous owner, saving us the cost of hiring an independent inspector and flying in to check the machine's condition. This alone saved us over $800 in travel expenses.
