Product Description

A visual inspection of this Sany 485H revealed the following: the engine exterior is clean; while there are slight traces of oil seepage at the valve cover, no oil accumulation is visible, and the area surrounding the engine is free of pooled oil. The anti-loosening safety wires and clips on the hub nuts are intact, with no signs of loss or breakage, and the valve torque and timing marks are clearly visible. There is rust on the surfaces of the track rollers—a normal occurrence for equipment operating in muddy environments; although I did not rotate the rollers to check the bearings, there were no abnormal noises from moving parts, suggesting the bearings are likely in good condition. The wear pattern on the drive sprocket teeth is normal, with no signs of chipped or missing teeth.

The interior is dirty but not trashy, our test driver found they have a fabric seat cover, indicating they’ve got a point of being somewhat clean, floor is typical for any cab with mud and other items that should not be in the vehicle, windows are smudged up, and of course, there was the rain during this investigation, but no cracks anywhere, the joysticks have some dust on them but don’t stick or lag when tested.  The hydraulic system,  the pumps are dry, they can weep from the gaskets around their cases—this one is pretty clean, squeezed the hoses, nothing cracked or soft on the hoses, the travel motor on the right side is clean as well. Really dry. Other miscellaneous items: Control valve block has the normal filth but no fresh oil; there is also no evidence of any ancient looking filters – someone has been doing some basic work there. As far as I can see, there isn’t any oil in the engine bay, it’s just dusty; radiator is behind the engine; no bulged hoses or cracks on the radiator so the cooling system seems to be fine, air filter housing is undamaged either. Some surface rust on the cylinders where the boom and stick threads out – this is cosmetic – no structural damage. Paint is faded on the boom and stick. There are some scratches on Counterweight’s, but otherwise it’s been good.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Load a lot of containers for West Africa out of different ports. Best thing about machdealers platform is they get the export docs right the first time. Commercial invoice, packing list, title. No delays at Jebel Ali Port Customs. Bought 4 KOMATSU PC200-8 from them so far.

We run a basalt quarry site in Central Ethiopia, we needed a 36 ton heavy excavator that can run 24/7 loading rock. Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.

The shipment from korea to Uganda took a little over four weeks, slightly longer than I was initially told, but the platform sent me weekly photo updates showing the machine's location on the ship, so I never worried about losing money. The machine arrived in perfect condition, and the short wait was worthwhile. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

We found a Volvo EC240 excavator at a very good price for our new residential project. The seller even uploaded complete maintenance records from the previous owner, saving us the cost of hiring an independent inspector and flying in to check the machine's condition. This alone saved us over $800 in travel expenses.
