Product Description
Today, I visited an earthworks site located about a 40-minute drive south of our facility to inspect the SDLG E6500F excavator. The paint is faded completely across the SDLG but as is normal on Chinese machines working in the sun, boom has scratches and the counter weight on the left rear has some paint rubbed off showing bare metal – but there isn’t any being dented or cracked in the casting. In short the entire undercarriage is smothered with dry mud, if you don’t use a pressure washer to clean up you won’t see any of the rollers or bushings, but when it is levelized, there is no sag in the frame that is noticeable, or any obvious cracks in the welds.
Popped the cover and hydraulics and pumps (2 main pumps in there, hoses do not look wet and no wet oil anywhere on the fittings and lines, just dust and grime from using dirty oil, hold on let me take a closer look at the base of the pumps; no pooling or fresh drips, seals appear okay, though I did not pull any of it apart). Bad teeth on a standard dig bucket – you will want to flip teeth or replace the teeth soon, but not replace the bucket as it is not cracked. I couldn’t find a good look at boom or stick pins as the machine was parked and I don’t think I would fire the iron up anyway, was not around and would not start someone’s else iron without permission, but the cylinders I did look at do not visually appear to be leaking, the rods appear clean anyway. Dirty but the windows in the cab are solid (no cracks). I couldn’t see in the cab due to the glare and dirt on the windshield and don’t know if seat is ripped or if controls are beat up. Not smoking.Today was really hot out there – didn’t find any shade for anybody on the site. Interesting that the top of the boom is covered with a peeling yellow sticker or decal but I couldn’t read the writing. Counterweight Damage is cosmetic (Paint damage only). Undercarriage wear is honest wear, it’s not abuse, it’s just a machine that has been used.

Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.
