Whether this is a 7-year old machine or not is up to you, walked this guy today (engine sounds good) and there’s a lot of site grime all over, for some reason it really made the machine look a bit worse than it’s mechanically, but it wasn’t abused, it’s an XCMG XE370DK from November 2019 and everything about him suggests this is a rig that gets used on a decent regular basis. There are bucket teeth, again nothing fancy but normal digging set up.
Removed the engine covers and oohh what a clean engine (relatively) for a Chinese engine that’s been on dirt for all this time, the radiator cores are not plugged or bent either (which is always good) and the pre-cleaner housing is up top and the area around the seals is relatively clean indicating the radiator stack has been maintained regularly – yep popped the engines anyways Hose has yellow-blue service tags on some of the hygline that is along the boom and chassis, all have proper clamps, none of the hose that I could see chafe along the boom or chassis. No rainbows/sweating under the fittings or wet spots on the swing motor or pump housing, although, wait, let me check the travel motor again. old packed dirt around the case, the service cap is still red and is tight on the motor, and is not fresh oil. Multi-spool valve bank under the engine deck with connections are dry. Some scuffing and work wear paint on body panels with no deep gouging or damage to metal, no damage to counterweight vents.Actually a bit muddy there, so had to scour off some clay from under the car from which to view anything of value. Machine digs well. No play. Boom cylinders extend smoothly (no jerks or stalls in the middle of the stroke) which indicates to me that the pump isn’t cavitating, which means that the control valves are not sticking. This would have to be the best of all things for a 2019 XCMG – Idle smoke free, smoke free when driving at full load, NO RPM hunting at idle at all from the engine.

Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.
