Product Description
Kobelco SK350LC runs fine, not smoking from what I could see when I opened the hood.The central control display shows that this machine has been running for 4686 hours.
Dirty, but not wet on top, engine bay (no fresh oil on the valve cover), all injection lines are seated and connected but somebody wrapped the upper radiator hose in red cloth tape somewhere, couldn’t be my own doing that might indicate that there was a crack or a weak spot, but the hose may be fine, may turn into a real problem, change it before running it hard in summer heat. The dust in the ac condenser and radiator fins is filled and requires a blow out – it is normal site life. Two of the batteries of the 24v system appeared fine, no noticeable corrosion on the posts and the coolant half full. Fuel filters, one an aftermarket FORBOT FC-5079, and one kobelco oem P592033, both look like they were changed recently – a good sign that someone went to trouble to do some sort of maintenance on this thing. When I got there there was a kids blue shared bicycle just dumped right in front of the machine that I had to push aside to check the undercarriage side. Let me take a look at the bucket photos again—all teeth intact, a couple of the points are rubbed down, but I don’t see any cracks or bends; it’s the normal ding-and-scratch of a site. The average burn as measured on Monitor was 6.8 liters per hour – normal range for a 35 ton class machine in H mode.
