Product Description
The owner of this Sumitomo SH210 had been parking it in an open space. According to the owner, the machine had only run for 3733 hours, and there were some mud spots on the body, which was probably expected. The display was good and she spoofed at 14.5L/hr burn but that’s what the display said. Engine bay is caked to boot! I mean there is dust and old dirt all over, but nothing dripping around the hydraulic pump area and that’s all crusty and old, I mean I mean first pass I didn’t see anything dripping, I might have to recheck my notes to make sure, no fresh drips or anything, maybe seals are holding up well for now! The filters appeared to be dirty on the outside, but it’s cosmetics; one was orange and the other was clear.
I didn’t see any wet spots on the chrome rods (boom and stick) which means they were looking good – you should see any wet seals first on the chrome rods. Glass on the cabin is all good only dusty, same with the display screen blue on the digital screen inside, fuel is visible, as is the hour meter but due to the situations the operator was in I didn’t get in. All black hydraulic hoses, the ones observed were not cracked and appeared dry, but are very aged and dirty with no active seepage back observed. The common combination is yellow and black paint and the counterweight doesn’t have any cracks or chunks missing, but might have dirt. Machine digs fine. Boom moves smooth.It was rather a breezy day out there today and dust was certainly flying to make details of some of the smaller fitting difficult to see.

The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.
