Product Description
The XCMG XE370DK excavator was parked in the yard along with a bunch of other machinery. The operator said it had been used for demolition work for the past few years. Engine is Isuzu, valve cover’s got that typical diesel oil film on the valve see on machines that run around but haven’t been washed up, but it doesn’t smoke blue and doesn’t knock over so that’s fine, turbo spools fine, no other weird noises out of the bay just normal diesel chug-chug-ing.
Mechanically it could be anything, operator seats covered in dust and mud, floor tracked dirt all over, steps caked, they haven’t cleaned this thing in a month or more, but mechanically it doesn’t mean anything, just means that they are using it and no one cares about housekeeping. During our walkaround, could see no fresh wet hydraulics leakage of the boom or stick cylinders, everything is just dirty as it’s a dirt site. It was quite breezy on the day of the inspection and I wouldn’t be able to hear a million things he said but the machine will dig fine with no jerking, no feel for loose pins in the hydraulics, I guess. Decal appearing faded to hell, with barely visible XCMG logo.The issue is the swing motor, with the rest of the hydraulics being dust and grime free. No cracks on track frame, just full of dirt.

Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.
