Product Description
This excavator (2021 XE60DA) is about 5 years old. oil staining (but not pooling – just the usual seepage that you see on machines that operate okay) on the cylinder head, first engine bay; if you don’t like dirty engine bays then you should plan on getting a valve cover gasket set and spending an afternoon. Well, my fuel filter looks good and clear and my air filter is a 2-stage filter and is not fouled to high heaven like some of the filters I see out here. Hydraulics, ah wait, let me go back to the pump area, doesn’t look like there’s any oil on it and all these lines feed into this multi-spool, no staining on the hoses either which is better than I thought it’d be considering how dirty this thing is overall.
then there is undercarriage and there is a lot of dried mud around and you can’t really see any of the components very well with a few chrome cylinders on the boom and stick, some pitting, but nothing that I would say is going to blow a seal next week. The bucket teeth are starting to wear flat but I didn’t have a good right under it to listen for every pin, you would have to run it through some cycles and listen to all the pins. Swing bearing area is dust coated, there are no obvious oil trails. I can’t get into the cab as the operator left the cab door locked on her way to lunch and I had no idea of how the interior was after the crash. Unfortunately it was cloudy at time of inspection, meaning lighting was not ideal to be able to access some of the darker areas under track.I was left with some fine machine from what the operator showed me in front of him as he left. Tailored to set up without smoke. Very responsive hydraulic performance – no sticking or lagging. When I got mine to flip I’d need to wash it and do some minor gasket work to get it looking right, but when buying it to work, so it would be running, it was not leaking enough to bother with that.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Load a lot of containers for West Africa out of different ports. Best thing about machdealers platform is they get the export docs right the first time. Commercial invoice, packing list, title. No delays at Jebel Ali Port Customs. Bought 4 KOMATSU PC200-8 from them so far.

We run a basalt quarry site in Central Ethiopia, we needed a 36 ton heavy excavator that can run 24/7 loading rock. Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.

The shipment from korea to Uganda took a little over four weeks, slightly longer than I was initially told, but the platform sent me weekly photo updates showing the machine's location on the ship, so I never worried about losing money. The machine arrived in perfect condition, and the short wait was worthwhile. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

We found a Volvo EC240 excavator at a very good price for our new residential project. The seller even uploaded complete maintenance records from the previous owner, saving us the cost of hiring an independent inspector and flying in to check the machine's condition. This alone saved us over $800 in travel expenses.

The team here truly understands the procurement process of construction companies—they won't bombard you with sales calls after you submit an inquiry, but will send you the specifications, prices, and inspection documents you require within an hour. 10/10, they will be our first choice for all future upgrades and replacements of our excavator fleet.

I’m a one man show doing septic tanks and grading. Rented forever until I found a Kubota U35 here. Wth financing rates right now I needed a cash deal. Got a great price. Rubber tracks are almost new. Starts every morning no problem.
