Product Description
A XCMG XE215DA excavator that has worked for 4,920 hours,It is maybe 4 years old or whatever (2022 year – checked oil with me last visit – no oil compromising computers) – 135kW rated power – engine area looks about as dusted as a 4 year-old engine, checked around oil pump housing area, swing motor area – it is dusty but no wet grime which is what you want to see.
The chrome looks pretty good on boom and stick cylinders (no scoring at the ground level that I could see and the pins all appear tight and didn’t hear any clunking on the arm when it was extended but that’s because they were demo riding on sloping terrain). Under carriage, after crawling under with a torch, is very dirty – old packed dirt and rock – the track frame, I think I can see it is not bent or cracked but heaps and heaps of crud. The streaking and surface rust are the typical symptoms which are found on counterweight, beginning in a few places but not affecting the structure.On the inside it’s dusty, I mean the screen is good as is all the dash lights. There are no cracks, the glass is in place all the way around. This is the description of all hydraulic lines in the engine bay: These are the black rubber hoses with their reinforcements and they didn’t look like there was anything new leaking off of them—they were all old stuff, not new leaks, just years of dust caked all over it, I looked at the pump area twice. The radiator fins require cleaning, but are not dented.

The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.
