Product Description
This XCMG XE800DK excavator rolled around today at around 2pm and with the sun out, but with the yard still muddy from last nights rainy spell, this made it a difficult task to underfoot. The engine still turns over without smoke, no blue and no black and runs fine at idle the way you’d want to see this kind of engine around this age get. Dried residue around the seals on both pumps (harmless), but look for any fresh oil drips after first 50 hours of use it is that old dried crust that you see anywhere you see a machine sitting a few weeks (Not a big deal but be mindful of it). Hose fitting brazed, threads on connectors have some oxidation, but appears they are in good shape, no visible cracks in hose lines were made accessible. The intake hose – red striped one – is installed without splits. Dents on air filter housing but appears fine on seal.
Put dust on the panel, grease on the grab handles, and something on the floor mat. It wasn’t a baby machine; it was worked. There were no sticking controls throughout the range. The upper panels are starting to look a bit faded from the sun and there’s some scratching on Counterweight, but it’s not anything that’s going to affect the way the machine runs. Buyer should expect a complete fluid change as well as new hose fittings on the pump connections and watch the pump seals for the first month service time.
