Product Description

Dispatched by my company, machdealers, I visited Armac Locação, Logística e Serviços SA in São Paulo, Brazil, and conducted an on-site inspection of the Caterpillar 323D2L excavator. This machine walked today no engine appear to have red flags hanging all over the cab interior, which, to me, means a brand-new stock machine on a dealer lot, may not have turned close to 20 hours or less. Indeed, 5% wear max (or less – it looks brand new and the grousers still look sharp on the track on cat 323d2L, long reach setup tracks) Those black accordion boots have hydraulic lines all over the top, no weeps to be had anywhere on the boom or stick cylinders, counterweight paint is perfect, no chips or dings you see from having worked on construction sites before, and the undercarriage of everything is stupid clean – it was probably pressure washed before the pictures were taken. Free spinning rollers, no oil misting around the final drives (sprockets), no glazing or chipping on sprockets. The problem is it was very cloudy when it was inspected so lighting wasn’t great but I (I’m leveling myself out), examined around the track frame rails looking for cracks or rewelding, no cracks or rewelding, they look factory. Well, then, let me look at the pump body… ok, just dust due to being placed outdoors, no fresh hydraulic dropping down the body.

I didn’t see the wrap on top of the interior torn up, the seat has the gray fabric untorn and there are these red ceremonial flags tied all over as if it just got brought in from China or something and nobody bothered to remove the décor. Glass in the cab is clean, no cracks, door seals seem to be good, operator’s manual was missing from seat pocket although it was a minor inconvenience it wasn’t a make or break for me, I was just about to get done. Engine access panels are closed and no I didn’t break them—this machine hasn’t been beaten it’s just lain in gravel until someone purchased it, that’s a lot better than a really low hour machine which got beat on a poor job site for three months and flipped. Did not see any exhaust stack smoke. Pins are tight. Some scuffing in the Bucket teeth is present but the cab mounted beacons work with no jerking or stalling in the boom so I assume hydraulic pump is ok, etc. You have a long reach, you sacrifice some breakout, get some depth (if you’re putting out footings or ponds, it makes sense) if you’re loading trucks all day then no! I didn’t see any leaks on the machine and ground appears dry under the machine. Other than that, it’s like brand-new iron that hasn’t been put to use so prices will relative to that.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Load a lot of containers for West Africa out of different ports. Best thing about machdealers platform is they get the export docs right the first time. Commercial invoice, packing list, title. No delays at Jebel Ali Port Customs. Bought 4 KOMATSU PC200-8 from them so far.

We run a basalt quarry site in Central Ethiopia, we needed a 36 ton heavy excavator that can run 24/7 loading rock. Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.

The shipment from korea to Uganda took a little over four weeks, slightly longer than I was initially told, but the platform sent me weekly photo updates showing the machine's location on the ship, so I never worried about losing money. The machine arrived in perfect condition, and the short wait was worthwhile. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

We found a Volvo EC240 excavator at a very good price for our new residential project. The seller even uploaded complete maintenance records from the previous owner, saving us the cost of hiring an independent inspector and flying in to check the machine's condition. This alone saved us over $800 in travel expenses.
