Product Description
Today, I inspected this XCMG 330GC excavator in person; manufactured at XCMG’s factory in China, it is a nearly-new piece of used construction machinery in excellent condition.
The cleanliness of the engine bay exceeded my expectations; there was some surface dust on the valve cover, but no signs of oil seepage or dripping at any of the gaskets.There is normal heat discolouration of the pink exhaust manifold with some black codling which isn’t a worry. Most of the hydraulic lines were Parker brand, hoses looked dry, I took the time to check around the pump and swing motor area of the machines since that is where machines normally develop issues and for the most part, nothing was found except old dust and grime, no fresh oil. Seals appear okay. There are dashboard decals, and windows don’t have any cracks. Holding up good with paints (typical CAT yellow – minor scuff body panels nothing cries out abuse) no big dents or cracks – counterweight looks good. Length is normal, all pins in boom and stick tight as I checked for movement—a used machine will always have a bit of free-play, but was not sloppy. Lighting wasn’t great during the inspection as it was an overcast day, but I got enough photos to show what is important. Machine digs well. When running there was no smoke from the exhaust, engine went like a cat and not a knocking or rattling type of diesel. This definitely looks as though it’s been fairly well maintained, I’ve seen far worse on a 330 made in China. This machine offers exceptional value for money; anyone with earthmoving or construction needs should buy it without hesitation.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.
