Product Description
I inspected this Caterpillar 320D2L excavator today; it is a rare find—a used machine in excellent condition. The engine compartment appears clean and dry—exactly the ideal state for the older D2 models—with no signs of hydraulic fluid seepage around the seals, and the main hydraulic pump area is also completely dry.
There is some debris and dust in the floormats and needs to be cleaned out. Tried to ascertain condition but Seat has covering on it so couldn’t be seen, it is a fabric seat, not the nice vinyl seats. No jerks in the cylinders, all the hydraulic lines have protective sleeves on them (which indicates that someone was thinking about maintenance), all the fittings are the proper quick-connects not some janky replacements. Radiator has no bent fins, coolant reservoir is full and the fluid does not look milky or rusty. All the rubber track pads are on Machine—that is what I’m told it was doing at the time: road work or ripping concrete, which is bad for the road, but would wear it out more quickly than steel. This area really looks nice and clean, and this is the engine area, sometimes these areas are covered in oil and leaky from all the gaskets, but this D2 is clean either they’ve steamed it off the top for sale or it doesn’t leak all that much.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.
