Product Description

This PC240LC is sitting in the yard with some other Komatsu iron, but I noticed this machine still had the factory plastic in the seat and those red dealer ribbons on anything and everything as if this machine had just arrived from Japan. I’m unsure how many miles it has been run, as the hours are not displayed anywhere and there was no one with the key to get it running, though I can see and feel that it is probably only a year old, or less, since it is dated January 2025 in the engine tag.

The cab itself has hardly been touched – plastic is still in place on the seat of the operator, floor mat is clean, there’s no cigarette burns on the sides, control mount is zip tied with red tags – either this is a demo unit that was hardly used at all or a machine that sat in a lot waiting for a buyer that didn’t materialize. The hydraulic system should be tight (no leaking beneath the machine), all cylinders should be dry (no seepage from the rod seals or cracks or splits in the cylinder) and boom and stick cylinders should have black boots on them and not be caked with oil and dirt like a seep around the fittings for months. I just have some light rust going on the edge on Bucket, nothing major, its just because it’s been sitting outdoors and the teeth are still there and haven’t been hammered flat.  no gouges or scuffs on the counterweight; decals are legible, the anti-slip pads on the walkways aren’t worn out yet. The fire extinguisher is mounted in the compartment and all the emission stickers are easily read (in case you are traveling across state lines or EPA business). In all honesty, it looks like it’s low-ish hours perhaps with some light use or it’s just a unit that never found a home that the dealer has in stock.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Load a lot of containers for West Africa out of different ports. Best thing about machdealers platform is they get the export docs right the first time. Commercial invoice, packing list, title. No delays at Jebel Ali Port Customs. Bought 4 KOMATSU PC200-8 from them so far.

We run a basalt quarry site in Central Ethiopia, we needed a 36 ton heavy excavator that can run 24/7 loading rock. Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.

The shipment from korea to Uganda took a little over four weeks, slightly longer than I was initially told, but the platform sent me weekly photo updates showing the machine's location on the ship, so I never worried about losing money. The machine arrived in perfect condition, and the short wait was worthwhile. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

We found a Volvo EC240 excavator at a very good price for our new residential project. The seller even uploaded complete maintenance records from the previous owner, saving us the cost of hiring an independent inspector and flying in to check the machine's condition. This alone saved us over $800 in travel expenses.

I’m a one man show doing septic tanks and grading. Rented forever until I found a Kubota U35 here. Wth financing rates right now I needed a cash deal. Got a great price. Rubber tracks are almost new. Starts every morning no problem.
