Product Description
The machine being inspected is a Hitachi Zaxis 200 excavator, painted orange, which is unusually good for a 20-ton excavator. Engine bay was buttoned up solid, but I lifted up the side panels and looked around the pump assembly and all lines leading up to the boom circuits – nothing weeping around the lines or the pump housing and no fresh oil.
There’s rubber floor mat and windows which are clear but for some dust on the outside and a blue climate control sticker on the instrument panel, but man I did not start it up to run the air conditioning, it was cold out there, and my hands were cold. Let me look at my notes again… Yeah, undercarriage looks like usual wear pattern: Center guides on shoes slightly worn, no particles sharp or broken off on the sprocket tips, all rollers top and bottom are in place and rotating normally; no flat spots or cracks on the housing that would indicate imminent grenade on some other person.A solid black heavy-duty track frame, there are no cracks in the welds or bent tracks which you often see when guys are pushing hard, up on uneven terrain. Normal wear – Bucket teeth are worn half way down, cutting edge has some life left. Paint has typical scratches and scuffs, but no large dents in counterweight or boom sections, decals and warning labels are still visible, indicating that the paint has not been sandblasted due to years of high abrasion activities. But the thing that really stood out was there’s nothing underneath on this that’s oily; there’s no wet places on the swing bearing area, travel motors both are bone dry, truly the only thing that really stands out is there’s nothing underneath anywhere that would be oily.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Load a lot of containers for West Africa out of different ports. Best thing about machdealers platform is they get the export docs right the first time. Commercial invoice, packing list, title. No delays at Jebel Ali Port Customs. Bought 4 KOMATSU PC200-8 from them so far.

We run a basalt quarry site in Central Ethiopia, we needed a 36 ton heavy excavator that can run 24/7 loading rock. Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.

The shipment from korea to Uganda took a little over four weeks, slightly longer than I was initially told, but the platform sent me weekly photo updates showing the machine's location on the ship, so I never worried about losing money. The machine arrived in perfect condition, and the short wait was worthwhile. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

We found a Volvo EC240 excavator at a very good price for our new residential project. The seller even uploaded complete maintenance records from the previous owner, saving us the cost of hiring an independent inspector and flying in to check the machine's condition. This alone saved us over $800 in travel expenses.

The team here truly understands the procurement process of construction companies—they won't bombard you with sales calls after you submit an inquiry, but will send you the specifications, prices, and inspection documents you require within an hour. 10/10, they will be our first choice for all future upgrades and replacements of our excavator fleet.

I’m a one man show doing septic tanks and grading. Rented forever until I found a Kubota U35 here. Wth financing rates right now I needed a cash deal. Got a great price. Rubber tracks are almost new. Starts every morning no problem.
