Product Description
Taking advantage of the good weather today, I came to the site to inspect this Komatsu PC60 excavator. Donaldson fuel filter is shiny, no grime around housing like on worn-out filter, oil filter is clean around the base (the most critical part that will seep oil). No wet areas or seepage around the valve cover, no cracked or bulging hoses and engine block is clean. Someone run it up on or at least didn’t run out on it.
Tracks are tight, underside of the frame has no staining or oil pooling in area where the travel motor or cylinder goes, I looked for water from the leaking travel motor or cylinder and there wasn’t any, and the ground under the machine was bone dry. I think today it was somewhat colder out here so that may have contributed – maybe it was what helped me see things. All Boom and Stick cylinders are clean, chrome on the rods is not pitted and there is no oil film or dust rings. Tied to the joysticks in here in red ribbon, don’t know why, it’s a sale lot thing or good luck thing or whatever. Overall feels good for the class, no holes in hoses, no leaks and tracks good. Not perfect. Just used.

The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

We run a basalt quarry site in Central Ethiopia, we needed a 36 ton heavy excavator that can run 24/7 loading rock. Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.
