Product Description
The excavator inspected this time was a Komatsu.PC270LC unit still with brand new tracks or damn close to it, grousers still real sharp with no rounding on the edges and that just points to the fact that doesn’t seem that it has dug rock or concrete for a long time or even at all. The good news is there is no weepage or oil seepage around the seals when I looked at the rollers or idlers, and undercarriage is black and it really looks like it just came off the line, no oil anywhere and no sign of weepage just some dust from being left outside. Boom / stick cylinders have those black protective covers over the hydraulic lines which is good, meaning that someone cared about keeping the debris off of hoses, and didn’t see any visible cracks or dry rot in any I could see from the ground. Paint on counter weight in good condition, clean yellow – no dents, no cracks – no abuse (falling into or dropping loads on it).
The interior of the cab is where the fun begins as this appears to be in pristine condition with the sheet of gray fabric still covering the area around the driver’s seat, and red ribbons or flags are tied around the joystick controls, I would assume some sort of ceremonial or prep work by the dealership. Oh, floor mat is that rubber grooved stuff, and oh, it’s really clean – no caked mud or grease – and that, again, indicates to me that this machine has very low hours – although I didn’t have an opportunity to get into the dash to actually check one. Checked on it again the second time, yes I wanted to be sure if there was any leaks—no oil drips on the frame rails from the motor or on the ground under frame so the seals checked out to be dry—walked around 2 times the second time. all the geometry including the boom pins and bushings had no visible slop when eyeballed and stick moves smoothly when parked. I can’t hear it run that morning it was very cold and as far as external, this machine appears clean.Normal bucket with no missing teeth, no major gouges or cracks in bucket shell (that I could see). Usually a sign of some trouble to come is when you see a hydraulic system where there are no blow out hoses hanging around or zip tied in place. As long as the hours are below 2000 and the price seems to be appropriate this’s a decent purchase, simply make sure before you wire money that someone is able to start it up and evaluate for smoke or strange noises. Engine bay not able to access, but didn’t see anything from outside that needs to be addressed. Tracks don’t bind. Looks good.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Load a lot of containers for West Africa out of different ports. Best thing about machdealers platform is they get the export docs right the first time. Commercial invoice, packing list, title. No delays at Jebel Ali Port Customs. Bought 4 KOMATSU PC200-8 from them so far.

We run a basalt quarry site in Central Ethiopia, we needed a 36 ton heavy excavator that can run 24/7 loading rock. Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.

The shipment from korea to Uganda took a little over four weeks, slightly longer than I was initially told, but the platform sent me weekly photo updates showing the machine's location on the ship, so I never worried about losing money. The machine arrived in perfect condition, and the short wait was worthwhile. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

We found a Volvo EC240 excavator at a very good price for our new residential project. The seller even uploaded complete maintenance records from the previous owner, saving us the cost of hiring an independent inspector and flying in to check the machine's condition. This alone saved us over $800 in travel expenses.

The team here truly understands the procurement process of construction companies—they won't bombard you with sales calls after you submit an inquiry, but will send you the specifications, prices, and inspection documents you require within an hour. 10/10, they will be our first choice for all future upgrades and replacements of our excavator fleet.

I’m a one man show doing septic tanks and grading. Rented forever until I found a Kubota U35 here. Wth financing rates right now I needed a cash deal. Got a great price. Rubber tracks are almost new. Starts every morning no problem.
