Product Description
Today I test drove this excavator on an open space on the outskirts of the city. The operator parked it there to warm it up. It’s a Chinese-assembled unit built Oct 2019 out of Changzjg, Komatsu PC360 but if they are taken care of, these work fine. All it has in the hour meter is 7407 which means it hasn’t been sitting around for 2019 machine which is what you want. All three gauges on the monitor were in the green; coolant temp normal, hydraulic oil temp normal, fuel was ¼ tank.
Normal wear in idlers and sprockets (no cracks and chunks missing which is good) and the rollers have some gunk on them but move freely when I pushed on them. Looked under the vehicle for leaks – engine block seems to have a bit of old oil, but there’s no new oil and it was dry, the hydraulic pump looks like a lot of dust and grime, but nothing is wet. Surface rust is normal for the age and ambient humidity conditions, and exhaust manifold has a bit of surface rust. Mechanically it is fine, but inside is in a mess, floor mats are dirty and dust is everywhere on control panel and the display screen as for the previous operator he didn’t seem to have cared much about keeping it clean. The upholstery is aftermarket blue over the seat; also, likely the original upholstery is ripped and stained below. The paint on the body has faded and is scratched up particularly on the counterweight, but again – it is a working machine, not a show piece. Nothing seems to be damaged structurally or to have any large dents in it that I could see. Machine digs well. Hydraulics respond quick.
