Product Description
I saw this Caterpillar 349D2L at the machinery storage area today. There are many used excavators in excellent condition like this one at the site. I really like these machines in good working order. Pins seem to be tight as far as I could see without underpinning with a bar.
Glass is intact and unbroken and there are no cracks. ROPS have good strength and safety rails are all present in yellow. Other than the shots of hydraulic cylinders on the arm showing no leakage, hoses with no seep and soft spots, nothing was really fancy or anything like that, just a standard dig unit (Bucket), boom and stick are standard reach configuration. You have excellent access to the engine bay, you can easily see the 1R-1808 oil filter stamped right in there, fuel system with the blue caps, there’s no fuel sheen on the deck, the air intake is clear and the radiation shroud or radiation guard is doing their job.No oil staining of the housings, track rollers and travel motors are encased and couldn’t check final drive oil. On the outside, swing bearing housing appears to be dry and covered. Paint has some minor surface damage to the top of it, but that’s surface and counter weight is standard factory. No oil spills that I could see anywhere in the engine compartment and if you look at all the other iron in the dealer’s yard, this one looks cleaner than most. The weather was quite bright on the walk so there were no problems with any poor photos. Of course, it’s on steel tracks and the machine looks like it is in good shape.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.
