Product Description

Today this SANY SY365H excavator has been sitting on a flatbed awaiting transport so couldn’t start it up, but did get a good look at all things that matter. As with any dealer that was working the paint is on the counterweight and hood. No damage to her cab, glass is fine, has roof rack and mirrors and everything is undamaged.

Picked away the engine covers and it’s here, engine-down crusty rust all over the manifold – no, not surface rust – that brown flaky rust that would indicate it’s been out in the elements or through some wetness. Oil from the one area around the oil fittings in the engine bay, could be a leak from before the oil change or could be it is leaking – who knows? It looks dry here, but when I checked the pump it was okay, I think some old dust just got on it, but none of the leaks (that I could see) were new, but definitely oil residue is on the housing for the hydraulic pump, and some of the other hoses show that sheen.  All cylinders looked fine and no scoring on the rods (that I could see) and boom and stick cylinders had paint wear, but the metal didn’t appear to have any buildup. Unfortunately I was out there in overcast weather all the time, and lighting wasn’t ideal in terms of being able to see small cracks.Bucket’s hard cutting edge is rounded off but not colored, compared to the other cutting elements, it appears there is still some life in the Bucket and the pins appear to be non-sloppy from the limited observation of it in the parked configuration. I have some damage to the counterweight – if you look closely there are dents but they are only incidental, none of the joints whatsoever were damaged.  Either “water work” or Overkill, Machine had a ‘snorkel intake’ set up. No visible major frame cracks and welds appear to be factory. When purchasing this, you will need to run it for sound of pump whine, check swing bearing play and test all of the functions with load.  To me that’s a working machine, not a collector piece, you’ll spend some money on tracks & perhaps tracks to find some of the oil seeps etc, but the bones are there if those are reasonable and the hours aren’t cooked too much.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Load a lot of containers for West Africa out of different ports. Best thing about machdealers platform is they get the export docs right the first time. Commercial invoice, packing list, title. No delays at Jebel Ali Port Customs. Bought 4 KOMATSU PC200-8 from them so far.

We run a basalt quarry site in Central Ethiopia, we needed a 36 ton heavy excavator that can run 24/7 loading rock. Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.

The shipment from korea to Uganda took a little over four weeks, slightly longer than I was initially told, but the platform sent me weekly photo updates showing the machine's location on the ship, so I never worried about losing money. The machine arrived in perfect condition, and the short wait was worthwhile. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

We found a Volvo EC240 excavator at a very good price for our new residential project. The seller even uploaded complete maintenance records from the previous owner, saving us the cost of hiring an independent inspector and flying in to check the machine's condition. This alone saved us over $800 in travel expenses.
