2021 SANY SY375H Crawler Excavator

I came here early this morning to inspect the excavator again. It’s a Sany 375H, guy left it on a pile of dirt, difficult to get under but whatever I saw what I needed. Engine bay top cover also was off and I checked for any oil on the pan there is none, she’s not running rich and there is no soot blowback around the exhaust stack, she’s not blowing rings, coolant hose was okay looking from above (no cracking that I could see), but the cooling pack that is located on the back is choked full, how much dust was on all those cores, the radiator, the hydraulic cooler and the AC condenser, I suggest you blow that up before putting any load on her in summer, or she will run hot without any doubt. Machine digs well.

The right hand pump compartment opened up OK, there’s a lefong fuel filter, no sign of any wetness/fresh fuel from the outside, and the main tandem pump looks dry. The underside appears dry, but ummm, went back and looked on the rod seal on the boom cylinder, there’s a dark residue ring right at the seal, dried up oil, it may be a case of it drying up, or someone wiped the area down before I arrived and removed the seal, but definitely keep an eye on the seal as it’s a bit dark. same with the swing motor housing, and the swivel joint body, the oxidation may be surface but I’d have someone test it on this one to make sure this is not translating into a bigger seal issue in the base of the swing body.Rows look good from the outside (front glass has glass guard which is great for such a small cab), roof rack is welded solid (no cab glass cracks apparent from walking length of the cab), decals (except for the Sany badge on the arm) are in good condition, same goes for the pins, they feel good when pushing on the lip, bucket teeth are worn but still functional. It all works and doesn’t smoke, I’d expect a cooling pack change to be in the fore-sea, watch that cylinder rod seal, and thought there might be some work under the car case when it’s next in for an inspection in about 500 hrs.
