Product Description
I saw this XCMG XE200DC excavator in the yard of a construction site today. Its tracks were covered in mud, and it was working when I arrived. Idler has some wear and some yellow grease on the bearing (someone has greased it at least) and some dirt pack and surface wear on the rollers but none unusual. The only thing that has that annoying crud that you see on machines that work in the clay or in the wet dirt was the track frame, didn’t see any cracks on the frame itself, that’s the biggest worry I always have with the Chinese iron.
I didn’t see any dust accumulating on the hydraulic lines which makes it harder to see if it’s leaking just because it was dust covered, but I didn’t see any leaks around the bottom or new drops, it was stains possibly a hundred hours old or a thousand, difficult to tell unless it was in operation, hot. Things are in good condition on the boom and stick with light surface rust on the rods which come on machines where they sit and/or work in humidity, not pitted of course, just light surface rust and when I ran my hand over them they’re smooth (no scoring that I can tell). I didn’t get cabin access so I can’t give you any info on seat being torn or does the AC work, etc. just what I could see from the outside. Filters clean – but it’s only cosmetic that you’ll be changing anyways. Seems like the oil is low, just plugged the shite on the pump and there’s oil residues, but no fresh wetness/drippages on the ground. I didn’t see any streaks or puddles which is what you would see if it was actively haemorrhaging fluid. I guess for a used XCMG, it doesn’t seem like it would be over abused, but before I sent a check the tracks need to be worked over and I’d like to hear it sound before I did that, although nothing here seems like a walk away.

The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.
