Product Description
I started inspecting the Hyundai 215LC-9 excavator at 5 PM. The light was already dim, so I used a flashlight while checking the chassis and engine compartment. The engine started smoothly without any white smoke. After a careful inspection, I confirmed that the engine was not burning oil and there were no signs of internal oil leaks. The bucket teeth appeared to be brand new, with no signs of wear. No jerks or delays in the control of the hydraulic itself whilst cycling boom and stick. I didn’t find any cracks in the cab glass, although the entire machine is filled with the fine demolition dust that’s hard to see if there are small chips underneath as well. Apparently the beacon light is functional, and there is a rope dangling off the cab, odd, but ok.
It is where the money goes on these things that you need to pay attention – undercarriage! The links were a little bit rusted, the rollers were full of dirt and I could not look as closely at them as I would like, but they spin, and they don’t wobble on rocking of the machine. The tension of the track should not be too low. Some of the pins and bushings might have a bit of wear this time, depending on how bad the lighting got, since it was late, but one would have to pull and measure those pins and bushings with calipers to determine if they are worn or not. With boom and stick cylinders you can’t see the chrome, but when you position the sticks neutral, the machine would not drift, so that the seals are likely good. Clean under the cab and pump – no hydraulic leaks or no sign of any under the cab other than the mud, of course. There are some scratches on the paint on the counterweight, but no bending or denting in the metal. Machine digs well. No play. I didn’t see any cracks around the pin bosses and the frame rails ran true. The supplier’s staff told me that the excavator had been completely refurbished and was fully capable of performing its job.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Load a lot of containers for West Africa out of different ports. Best thing about machdealers platform is they get the export docs right the first time. Commercial invoice, packing list, title. No delays at Jebel Ali Port Customs. Bought 4 KOMATSU PC200-8 from them so far.

We run a basalt quarry site in Central Ethiopia, we needed a 36 ton heavy excavator that can run 24/7 loading rock. Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.

The shipment from korea to Uganda took a little over four weeks, slightly longer than I was initially told, but the platform sent me weekly photo updates showing the machine's location on the ship, so I never worried about losing money. The machine arrived in perfect condition, and the short wait was worthwhile. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

We found a Volvo EC240 excavator at a very good price for our new residential project. The seller even uploaded complete maintenance records from the previous owner, saving us the cost of hiring an independent inspector and flying in to check the machine's condition. This alone saved us over $800 in travel expenses.

The team here truly understands the procurement process of construction companies—they won't bombard you with sales calls after you submit an inquiry, but will send you the specifications, prices, and inspection documents you require within an hour. 10/10, they will be our first choice for all future upgrades and replacements of our excavator fleet.

I’m a one man show doing septic tanks and grading. Rented forever until I found a Kubota U35 here. Wth financing rates right now I needed a cash deal. Got a great price. Rubber tracks are almost new. Starts every morning no problem.
