Product Description
This morning I examineed this volvo EC290 Heavy Duty which have paint jobs on the black boom and arm, but don’t think that means it has been house treated because I opened every door I could reach and could not see any fresh paint or any oil, just dust and yard grime, which is what you would expect to see in a machine sitting outside in a dealer lot. Engine bay has the volvo green block, coolant overflow tank is a tad bit discolored, some brownish streaks down the plastic but this appears to be road dust and aging and not from any coolant leakage, cap was tight with no signs of any leaks in the big lower rad hose – lids are correct – no bulging. There is minor surface corrosion on the overflow tank mount panel bracket on the left side of the panel, this should be noted on your sheet for record keeping but is not a problem.
The fuel filter compartment is good as far as leakage is concerned: three filters; one PL420 high pressure, the other a volvo OEM white canister and the other is a third party (HLX) filter on the right, no leakage at any of the connections and water separator bowl appears clear — but wait went and checked the pump manifold area again, yes only dried dust caked on the connections, no wetness, no leakage. Pins are tight. Tracks are twin grousers, steel with rubber insert pads and I’d estimate these tracks are around 5 percent worn out, another place where I get a quick idea of the condition of these machines is around the front idler seal and I didn’t find any oil ring around that seal and that is dry looking, tension on the track I’d say is good, no play in the chain at all. Upper structure appears to be yellow and black bi-tone with the counterweight being black; there is a rear Volvo-red C badge; the running lights appear functional (visual inspection only); and an amber beacon lights will be mounted on the cab roof. There were no visible ground level boom and arm welds and the corrugated hose stretch is sound along the entire length of the front linkage. The teeth situation is unknown as the saw may have them worn flush or removed, surface rust and wear has appeared around the edge of the bucket; will need to replace teeth edge prior to using. I have no other complaints with this machine.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Load a lot of containers for West Africa out of different ports. Best thing about machdealers platform is they get the export docs right the first time. Commercial invoice, packing list, title. No delays at Jebel Ali Port Customs. Bought 4 KOMATSU PC200-8 from them so far.

We run a basalt quarry site in Central Ethiopia, we needed a 36 ton heavy excavator that can run 24/7 loading rock. Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.

The shipment from korea to Uganda took a little over four weeks, slightly longer than I was initially told, but the platform sent me weekly photo updates showing the machine's location on the ship, so I never worried about losing money. The machine arrived in perfect condition, and the short wait was worthwhile. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

We found a Volvo EC240 excavator at a very good price for our new residential project. The seller even uploaded complete maintenance records from the previous owner, saving us the cost of hiring an independent inspector and flying in to check the machine's condition. This alone saved us over $800 in travel expenses.

The team here truly understands the procurement process of construction companies—they won't bombard you with sales calls after you submit an inquiry, but will send you the specifications, prices, and inspection documents you require within an hour. 10/10, they will be our first choice for all future upgrades and replacements of our excavator fleet.

I’m a one man show doing septic tanks and grading. Rented forever until I found a Kubota U35 here. Wth financing rates right now I needed a cash deal. Got a great price. Rubber tracks are almost new. Starts every morning no problem.
