Product Description

This doosan DX420LC-9C (two of them were on that site, one 3-HB and the other 3-3B) and the first thing I went straight to was the engine bay – it’s the first place I always visit first – scania inline-6 the same as they run in these big doosans, the manifold is all gritty orange rust on the top, that’s just surface oxidation on the cast iron which is normal really, valve cover gaskets are the correct colour and were looking dry – there was no sign of problems around those six covers, turbo was a bit grimy but didn’t see any oil oozing out the cold side, and it didn’t smoke and idle fine – that’s just what I saw first when I was there.

Fuel side, I got aftermarket lefong filters on, they had FU-1103 water separator and fuel filter, these were ref numbered but I always note to any buyer that they are not OEM Doosan as they are prone to weeping, all the bowls are dry, I didn’t see anything pooling on the floor of that compartment, it had to have been last serviced properly. I proceeded to pump bay I went thru hoses at 350 bar EN856 rated; all clamps were all bolted solid; checked down to the swing motor, and checked the centre area of the swivel, which is where I usually find leaks with this many hours; a fair amount of grime and dark residue around fittings — Wait checked with my light in there again — yeah it must be because it was packed with dust and no oil residue, no oil ring around the base so seals holding it dry. Good sign. When Shutdown was complete I noticed that Machine was standing a minute or so and nothing fell to the ground.I’d say about 40-50 percent was still good on the grousers, they were worn but still retaining the height of their lugs, no shoes missing either side and the sprocket looked fine and had no missing teeth and no wobbling on the idler, that would be about what you would expect on a machine that was operating every day in aggregate and sand work. No, I didn’t see anybody in there cleaning it up after the show, between shows, but I know that the cab is so dirty, and you can see the mud tracked in and on the floor mat, but I don’t see anything wrong with the glass, all the glass is intact, the arm rest is all good, the pilot levers, they didn’t have anything on them. There is some dap around the lower body, there is no paint on the track frame areas that I could see, upper body has a fading paint job, dents on the boom and arm can’t see but you would want to change the bucket teeth before doing a big job.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Load a lot of containers for West Africa out of different ports. Best thing about machdealers platform is they get the export docs right the first time. Commercial invoice, packing list, title. No delays at Jebel Ali Port Customs. Bought 4 KOMATSU PC200-8 from them so far.

We run a basalt quarry site in Central Ethiopia, we needed a 36 ton heavy excavator that can run 24/7 loading rock. Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.

The shipment from korea to Uganda took a little over four weeks, slightly longer than I was initially told, but the platform sent me weekly photo updates showing the machine's location on the ship, so I never worried about losing money. The machine arrived in perfect condition, and the short wait was worthwhile. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

We found a Volvo EC240 excavator at a very good price for our new residential project. The seller even uploaded complete maintenance records from the previous owner, saving us the cost of hiring an independent inspector and flying in to check the machine's condition. This alone saved us over $800 in travel expenses.

The team here truly understands the procurement process of construction companies—they won't bombard you with sales calls after you submit an inquiry, but will send you the specifications, prices, and inspection documents you require within an hour. 10/10, they will be our first choice for all future upgrades and replacements of our excavator fleet.
