2025 Doosan DX225LCA Long Reach Crawler Excavator

This Doosan DX225LCA is an original factory condition machine with no major accidents and no broken weld repairs. The paint, that’s the first thing that strikes one, this machine is new, has only been around a few, if any, hundred hours. The tracks are essentially new (max wear 5-10%), links are tight and there’s no wear in the chain and the pads have remaining wear of them. There should be no caked mud or oil ruins – undercarriage should be clean, I mean REALLY clean! Greased all final drives and checked track motors, all dry and no signs of weeping seals on final drives or frame rail oil stains. Looking good: Sprockets and idlers appear to be brand new; all rollers are there with no flat spots, no cracks (wait a minute… swing bearing area is exposed, that’s okay for these, no grease leaks, bolts are tight and no bearing play when I pushed on the house).

Cabs that are in good shape, still have the plastic wrap from the seat which indicates that this vehicle hasn’t logged many miles or someone settings up this car for photos and has removed the wrap. The seat is made of fabric, the two joysticks are used for controls, the screen with the monitor is placed in the front and there is no crack anywhere in the glass. It was a bit cloudy when I was doing this, so my lighting may not be as good as I’d like, but I made sure that I could see in there.  No scoring (as far as I could see) and pins at stick and bucket are neat, cylinders look good and no sloppy rods. The Bucket is the standard bucket, teeth, size not sure (assuming teeth are not worn out, most likely between 1.2 and 1.3) hard to state without measuring, but approximately correct size for a 22 ton class machine. No smoke on start-up that I could see from outside of car and no funny noises; Operator manual not in seat pocket however nothing unusual with newer cars – probably still at dealership. On a cursory inspection under the counterweight, the hydraulic tank/pumps had no oil, replaced glasses or leaking valves. Mounting of counterweight – solid without crack. Machine runs fine. No play.
