Product Description
It’s a Sany SY205C DPC, I’ll just tell you this machine is running good, no weird noises at idle, and swing is tight enough that there’s no slop that I feel through the sticks in it. The cab is… dirty floor, some grit is everywhere, the handle of the dipstick is just dangling and a drain hose is on the base of the seat mount which I would want to see what that goes to, but the seat is not ripped and it’s SANY. It lit when I was in there and radio display was green—(powered) — and a/c panel showed it was off (a red OFF light was illuminated). No cracks in the boot and there’s no binding in the sticks on joystick boots.
tracks were all steel (no rubber pads), the mud pack was pretty hard. No cracks or seized movement around the front idler/sprocket area; this area was a bit caked with mud. Undercarriage frame is very solid and has no bend visible.Engine bay I opened front end, valve cover is dusty, but not wet, front intake hoses seem fine — the red silicone hose has no cracks in the bends and the black corrugated type seems fine; top of the muffler itself does not appear to be rusted through. I spent the majority of my time in the hydraulic pump bay – the spin-on filter down there appears to have been changed a relatively short time ago as there doesn’t seem to be any grime on it, and the fuel-water separator on the left looks to be OK. Dried stain of oil is present in the bay on the bottom of floor pans, not fresh oil. The swing motor is the only other thing that may be a cause for concern, as the ground around it is black, and there is ground between the motor base casting, indicating that there must have been some source of seepage at some point (no active drips from the motor base casting when I was there, though it may be an old shaft seal that weeps under load — a pressure-test would be a wise idea before spending any money). No known leaks but this would be one motor zone that I would want to give another look with it under load.
