2021 SANY SY415H Pro Crawler Heavy Excavator

It had just rained in Moscow, and the ground was still muddy. I came here to conduct an on-site inspection of the overall condition of the SanySY415H Pro excavator.. no smoke around valve cover gasket nor was the valve cover itself weeping around the gasket (that I could see). Visually, hydraulic pump assembly was clean, several white oil filter canisters are installed vertically and there were no stains or leaks on the hoses (all black rubber with metal hose clips) and no fresh oil drip stains or wetness around hydraulic fittings – only old site dust around all things. Swing motor is under cab and I saw some dirt and grease packed within the swing bearing. I couldn’t get too good an idea on the wear percentage on sprocket or rollers because they are all mud-caked; they are covered in mud.

Inside of cab is somewhat worn and operator’s seat has fabric wear and some stains, the floor mat has dried mud all over and some dirt on steps. The glass was in good shape with no cracks. Hydraulic cylinder rods on the boom and stick seem to be clean with no scoring visible, and the cylinder seals don’t appear to be weeping; the cylinder seals don’t seem to be weeping at all. It seems that the holding power of the paint on the boom is not going down, there are no big gouges or bent metal – just surface scratches and dirt. Counterweight’s dirty. At least the engine cover exhibits cooling louvers and anything behind the engine was only dusty and not oil-soaked. Undercarriage: Surface rust on track frame (normal) – couldn’t see conditions of actual rollers due to all the mud. Seats pocket has no Operator’s manual. Overall, the machine may be covered in dirt and grime from the work site.
