Product Description
The vehicle currently being inspected is a Sany Heavy Industry SY215C, equipped with an Isuzu engine. Honestly the bay was cleaned up better than I thought and not a drop of oil under the engine or fresh oil on the frame rails or dripping off the oil pump housing — let me look at my notes, indeed, just some construction dirt on the oil pump housing — normal for an engine that’s in service. Started it up she didn’t hesitate, wasn’t issuing any white smoke from the stack, hydraulics got to pressure without any strange noises or the grinding sound a pump makes when it’s on the verge of failure. Did a few cycles of the boom and stick, pin set up is tight with no slop in the bucket’s cylinder rod and the dipper stick moves smooth and not jerky (indicating seals in the cylinder still working).
Idlers and sprockets appeared to be OK from what I could see, no chunks missing and rollers don’t bind as they spin freely. Tracks are rubber, which helps to keep costs down if a replacement is made sometime down the road, and also signifies that damage to tracks is accelerated when they come into contact with hard ground. Boom and stick paint is still in fairly good shape (some scratches and dings but nothing significant enough to be concerned with), cylinders have clean rods – no pitting that I could see.Inside: It is not showroom, but it is not junked either, fabric seat with a little dust, one has to have some red/ugly floor coverings because it’s dirty, but the floor coverings worked just fine, gauges all tested out fine when I turned the key. No cracks and breaks in the glass! The following were in place within the hydraulic system: Hydraulic oil reservoir had fluid within the correct working level; coolant bottle was full and there was no mixing of fluids which would be a red flag. It was sunny during the inspection so I was able to see everything – no shadows blocked any issues. Machine digs well. If you need a medium-sized excavator with a low initial cost, then this excavator looks good.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Load a lot of containers for West Africa out of different ports. Best thing about machdealers platform is they get the export docs right the first time. Commercial invoice, packing list, title. No delays at Jebel Ali Port Customs. Bought 4 KOMATSU PC200-8 from them so far.

We run a basalt quarry site in Central Ethiopia, we needed a 36 ton heavy excavator that can run 24/7 loading rock. Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.

The shipment from korea to Uganda took a little over four weeks, slightly longer than I was initially told, but the platform sent me weekly photo updates showing the machine's location on the ship, so I never worried about losing money. The machine arrived in perfect condition, and the short wait was worthwhile. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

We found a Volvo EC240 excavator at a very good price for our new residential project. The seller even uploaded complete maintenance records from the previous owner, saving us the cost of hiring an independent inspector and flying in to check the machine's condition. This alone saved us over $800 in travel expenses.

The team here truly understands the procurement process of construction companies—they won't bombard you with sales calls after you submit an inquiry, but will send you the specifications, prices, and inspection documents you require within an hour. 10/10, they will be our first choice for all future upgrades and replacements of our excavator fleet.

I’m a one man show doing septic tanks and grading. Rented forever until I found a Kubota U35 here. Wth financing rates right now I needed a cash deal. Got a great price. Rubber tracks are almost new. Starts every morning no problem.
