Product Description

This machine is the SY485HPro model, powered by an Isuzu engine; if you have been looking for equipment of this type recently, this Chinese-made model is worth considering. Engine does not have any exhaust stack dust, and no fresh oil with the valve cover, although there is a little surface exhaust dust on the turbo housing, but it is not wet, just like some of the older Sany I have seen in the yard—wait let me check my notes… When I removed the side panels I could see the pump and main valve looked clean; all the lines to the valve body looked dry and there was no rainbow or wet spots under the swing bearing housing – this actually is decent hardware, it’s a bosch pump. Other than the pin wear and bushing condition which can’t be measured easily because the tracks were pretty well caked with mud, I couldn’t get a real good idea on the condition of the sprocket teeth, the rollers and the idlers were all buried, in the dunes I guess, or whatever they’ve been digging on.

If you’re driving a Cab then be mindful this is pretty much in an abused condition — dirt all over the floor mats, seat is all dusty, mud splattered around all the pedals. Inside the windows are dirty as well, this one looks like it’s been demo or been site prep in wet weather for some time. Today when I was out there it was overcast, was expecting the rain but didn’t happen. I didn’t notice any odd slop at the controls when moving the pilot by hand with the machine off, and linkage was tight. There’s faded and scratched pretty much all over – especially the boom and around the cab edges – paint so far has turned to that black coating only; nothing structural, just cosmetic aging; counterweight has the same black coating, but it has spots of rust bloom through it. I can only say that this one felt just like the japanese, it didn’t appear to be as squared away as it should be, the buckets and the stick and boom tubes didn’t seem to be sloppy, at least I didn’t feel any cracked welds anywhere on the stick or boom tubes, and the bucket wasn’t as good as the japanese either, I would rock it my self and nothing seemed like it wasn’t in spec. Finally, it’s a functional piece of equipment that has been used at least once by someone else, no leaking engine, apparently no trouble with the hydraulic systems and a black question mark in the undercarriage of which is TREE dirty.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Load a lot of containers for West Africa out of different ports. Best thing about machdealers platform is they get the export docs right the first time. Commercial invoice, packing list, title. No delays at Jebel Ali Port Customs. Bought 4 KOMATSU PC200-8 from them so far.

We run a basalt quarry site in Central Ethiopia, we needed a 36 ton heavy excavator that can run 24/7 loading rock. Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.

The shipment from korea to Uganda took a little over four weeks, slightly longer than I was initially told, but the platform sent me weekly photo updates showing the machine's location on the ship, so I never worried about losing money. The machine arrived in perfect condition, and the short wait was worthwhile. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

We found a Volvo EC240 excavator at a very good price for our new residential project. The seller even uploaded complete maintenance records from the previous owner, saving us the cost of hiring an independent inspector and flying in to check the machine's condition. This alone saved us over $800 in travel expenses.

The team here truly understands the procurement process of construction companies—they won't bombard you with sales calls after you submit an inquiry, but will send you the specifications, prices, and inspection documents you require within an hour. 10/10, they will be our first choice for all future upgrades and replacements of our excavator fleet.
