Product Description
This SANY SY550H running fine on Isuzu 6W81XDHAO power plant. All glass in cab is intact, no cracks, Fire Extinguisher is installed where it should be. Bucket’s worn but still has teeth cutting edge is pretty hammered, that is expected on a machine that has been working. Boom and stick cylinders look dry off the exterior, no traces of oil down the cylinders and pins don’t show any sign of looseness (did hear a couple of clunks from the operator, but he was able to cycle it a few times). Boom hoses are really messy and though I didn’t see any cracks or bulges, there was some dust and grime on job site so maybe it needs washing down to see if any such damage. There’s nothing unusual about Platforms that were covered with dried mud.
As for what’s going on underneath, nothing seemed to have pooled or be wet, just dust accumulations on the pump assembly checked underneath the engine cover. The top of the engine is dirty and vents are halfway blocked: Someone is going to have to blow vent if they don’t want the engine to overheat on a long day. Structurally it’s nice and sound, no dents or looks like there is any damage anywhere as some of the paint is peeling off the top, but Counterweight is rusty in the places where paint is peeling off. There was a little grime but no evidence of any being fresh or wet on the hydraulic pump area. Machine digs well. No play. Also the operators manual is not in the seat pocket, not sure if that is an issue for you, but thought I’d warn you. Still rare is if the nameplate has been preserved and readable, as have been serial numbers if you need to perform a history check.If you’re buying the product nowadays make sure you’re thinking about replacing your entire track, if you’re not very heavy on the product, and apply some grease to the whole underneath, replacing hardware where necessary. I didn’t do anything other than lifts of covers etc or drainage or anything, engine side looks fine, no any sort of noises or anything, but just what I spotted in the allotted time I had to simply say that much. Tag on fire extinguisher indicates “current. The Cab was dirty but functional, I was unable to get into the Cab as the Operator was still getting used up when arrived. If that price seems like it’s exhibiting the condition of the track, then you should be safe – unless, of course, it’s supposed to be available for a job next week without stuff being done to it.
