2021 SDLG E6210F HD Tracked Excavator

I went to see this SDLG E6210F HD 21-ton tracked excavator at 9 a.m., and the number of working hours was displayed on the center console.Paint is present on boom and stick, some fading present on counter weight painting (and paint completely gone on lower counter weight painting to which is normal to a working machine of this size). Glass on the cab is good, none of the glass checked out as being cracked, handrails are present, cab structure appears to be straight. No idea with the interior, didn’t get in so it wasn’t with the guy I met on the property, so I guess there’s need to commit to this one before you form an idea of how it was inside.

Front steel triple-grousers with that 50-65 percent left on the tips – a normal wear factor, however, being steel proTracker the tips have worn flat and I would note it to a buyer as well as the same on a rear idler grouser. Track tension is low (can see sag in photos on bottom run), tension needs to be adjusted prior to using or throw a track on first hard turn.If I had enough $ to invest I’d put my money on swing motor area, there’s some fresh black oil staining on top of the swing motor housing and working its way around the structure, not old dried oil on it, wet and it could be a seal on the motor or some kind of weeping on the manifold above it, whatever way it is it’ll need a good cleaning with a clean rag and some dye before you guess it’s ok. One of the black hoses (close to the swing motor’) will show some signs of cracking outside the jacket around the bend; this is a MUST replace hose.Engine bay – Well, let me refresh my memory on this one, yup, the exhaust manifold and heat shield are rather ratty with a nice coat of orange corrosion on them all over the surface, but no sign of actual wear or cracking at this time (probably was at one point, though!) coolant tank liquid, located in the midsection of the engine compartment, is low and is brown yellow tint – I’d say it hasn’t been changed in awhile and the inhibitor has either worn out or the fluid has mixed with something else. Fuel filter is aftermarket not OEM which was fine, but that meant that maintenance hadn’t been budget conscious. Good appearance of hydraulic filters – seated. There is no weep around the valve cover oil gasket, no oil pooling on the top of the deck and the oil filler cap is in place on the engine block. I would expect this to be a machine that’s been used a bit and not babied, as some would otherwise for the price. Everything else is ‘wear’ for which you can be prepared.
