Product Description

I drove the Sany 245H excavator to the middle of the site, started the engine, and the startup went very smoothly. I stood and listened for about 10 minutes. There was no smoke when it started. The valve mechanism did not make any strange knocking or ticking sounds. It only made the normal diesel engine sound for a machine of this size. The condition was quite good. Dwell on this response, there’s no lag or jerking when cycling the boom and stick, nor is the pump pressure dropping, which means the pump still has good pressure and control valves are not ‘sloppy’ yet. Hard to say off the hand how much is not gone on the tracks after a look through the pads, the rollers are spinning freely, sprockets maybe 5-10% gone, but still enough meat on the pad and the sprockets still have teeth remaining if it had been pulled.

On the inside everything is sheathed in plastic, one would assume that it was just brought off a vessel, but I suppose it could be someone just trying to keep up the appearance for the photographer as the seat still has some life below the plastic and monitor booted up just fine, all gauges were functioning normally, fuel was about 50% and coolant temp checked out without spikes. Apparently, they have red rags on the joysticks which I suppose is how they distinguish inventory here, or whatever. Swing bearing feels very tight when it rotates the house, no grinding or clunking is good since it is a 15k job if it fails. Visual check at the counterweight and around the swing motor area (hello, I must check my notes here… Right, looked at the hydraulic lines, etc, etc, all dry, just old dirt and dust caked on, so whilst I do have a surprise here, that it’s a Chinese machine, SANY’s stepped up their quality in the last few years might be why.You can use Bucket’s all the while until the edge wears down, which it does like you would expect; the cutting edge is rounded off but should last a few hundred hours before it becomes necessary to flip or change Bucket’s; the teeth are comfortable gone but most guys have their own set up. The Pins and Bushings at stick and boom joints have a very slight slop not to the alarming extent, maybe a Mil of movement from rocking back and forward normal for a good working machine, if it was dead dead zero, then I’m wondering if something is broken. The boom is loaded with scratches and paint is peeling off the counterweight and some scuffs on the boom from brush or loading trucks. Cleaner than I thought up under my engine, no oil puddling under the oil pan, fuel separator filter doesn’t look like it has been in a while, no bulges or cracks in the hoses, The inspection was made during a rather cool temperature so it was not able to go through a full cycle under load , however, it was a good performer!

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Load a lot of containers for West Africa out of different ports. Best thing about machdealers platform is they get the export docs right the first time. Commercial invoice, packing list, title. No delays at Jebel Ali Port Customs. Bought 4 KOMATSU PC200-8 from them so far.

We run a basalt quarry site in Central Ethiopia, we needed a 36 ton heavy excavator that can run 24/7 loading rock. Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.

The shipment from korea to Uganda took a little over four weeks, slightly longer than I was initially told, but the platform sent me weekly photo updates showing the machine's location on the ship, so I never worried about losing money. The machine arrived in perfect condition, and the short wait was worthwhile. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

We found a Volvo EC240 excavator at a very good price for our new residential project. The seller even uploaded complete maintenance records from the previous owner, saving us the cost of hiring an independent inspector and flying in to check the machine's condition. This alone saved us over $800 in travel expenses.

The team here truly understands the procurement process of construction companies—they won't bombard you with sales calls after you submit an inquiry, but will send you the specifications, prices, and inspection documents you require within an hour. 10/10, they will be our first choice for all future upgrades and replacements of our excavator fleet.
